(Just FYI, NBA Basketball may not air each time it is supposed to, if the finals are over before then. If it isn’t on, reruns will most likely take its place.) Sunday is the series premiere of Surviving History on the History Channel at 10/9c. Thrill-seeking history buffs put history’s artifacts and weapons to the test. My husband already had me set this up to record. *laugh*

Monday is the series premiere of Psychic Kids: Children of the Paranormal on A&E at 10/9c. Your child comes to you and says, “I see dead people.” What do you do with that information? There are parents who are scared and isolated with problems that they often keep quiet issues dealing about their children’s paranormal abilities. Now, thanks to Medium Chip Coffey and renowned psychologist and Columbia University professor, Dr. Lisa Miller, help is on the way. From “seeing dead people” to frightening abilities to predict the future, Chip and Lisa will uncover the truths and help the terrified and gifted come to terms with their abilities.

Tonight’s 2nd series premiere is The Middleman on ABC Family at 8/7c. There are the strange occurrences that can never be explainedincidents with creatures that couldn’t possibly be realevil forces lurking in the dark, out of the sight of ordinary peoplebut there is one man out there who fights such evil every day so you don’t have to: The Middleman. The thirteen-one hour episodes star Matt Keeslar (Snowglobe), Natalie Morales (CSI: Miami), Mary Pat Gleason (I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry), Brit Morgan (Buried Alive) and Jake Smollett (Eve’s Bayou).

It’s also the series premiere of Secret Diary of a Call Girl on Showtime at 10:30/9:30c. It introduces viewers to a contemporary woman. She is smart, strong and confident and, like many modern women, she is struggling to balance her personal and professional life. In her case this pendulum swings between her job as a legal secretary, where she is known as Hannah, and her career as one of London’s high-class call girls, where her clients simply refer to her as Belle, the answer to all their wildest fantasies. Trying to keep these two worlds from colliding results in some interesting situations and some humorous circumstances, including keeping her secret life from her family and her best friend Ben. The series stars British actress Billie Piper (Doctor Who) in the dual role.

Following that is the season premiere of Weeds on Showtime at 10/9c. Click here for info about this season’s premiere: Nancy relocates with her family to Ren Mar, where Andy’s father awaits; Doug, Dean and Andy pin the operation on Celia.

Finally, it’s the season premiere of Intervention on A&E at 9/8c. Tonight’s episode is about Chad, an ex-professional cyclist.

Wednesday is the series premiere of Black Gold on TruTV at 10/9c.
