This Week on TV – 6/29/08-7/5/08

Welcome to a new week of TV! Been a long week here. Tried to reformat my computer and it took DAYS and about 15 tries before the reformat went through and I quit getting a BSOD. Ugh. But, fixed now. Temporarily at least. Still having issues. Think it’s about time to look for a new computer, although money-wise, that’s a non-starter atm. *sigh* So yeah, let’s just get on with the business of tv, how’s that sound? LOL (By the way, nothing worth watching on Saturday this week!) Jump with me to see this week’s schedule!

Sunday is the series premiere of The Singing Office on TLC at 9/8c. Each week, hosts Joey Fatone and Mel B. surprise an office, hold an impromptu audition – in front of their co-workers – to create a team of the five best singers, and help them prepare for their time in the spotlight. Then, it’s off to the stage for a choreographed sing-off to earn a spot in the finale and a chance to win $50,000.

It’s also the series premiere of Factory on Spike TV at 10/9c. This new comedy is the story of four guys who grew up together in the same small town, who drank a lot of beer, and dreamt of one day making a name for themselves. The four guys are still friends and still drink a lot of beer, only now they all work in the town’s local factory. When not figuring out new ways to avoid doing their jobs, the guys are usually trying to appease their wives and girlfriends, without great success. When a work-related accident creates a job opening, the guys have to decide who should get the promotion, which unfortunately might require actual work.

Tonight on Million Dollar Passwords, Steve Schirripa (from The Sopranos) and country singer Sara Evans are the celebrity contestants.
