Hey everyone! Sorry it’s up so late today… one of those days 🙂 I do however have some good stuff, so it’s been worth the wait 😀
Do you love Jennifer Garner (Alias)? Well, she recently signed a deal with ABC to develop projects with her Vandalia Films production company. There isn’t any news about her acting in any of the projects yet, but who knows what the future holds. I love Garner and think that whether producing or acting she’ll do any project justice. 🙂 Source

Eliza Coupe, who plays Denise ( a.k.a ‘Jo’ ) on Scrubs, has been promoted to a series regular. The very funny super insensitive intern will play a larger part in next season’s new med school format. This is excellent news! Coupe is a great actress and she has really done well with this character, making it a great promotion by Bill Lawrence! Check out the full article here.
Daphne Zuniga will be reprising her original role of Jo Reynolds on the new Melrose Place this fall. Of course, we all still know her more recently as Brooke Davis’ wicked witch mother on One Tree Hill. Daphne will guest in at least two episodes, who knows maybe more. She was the person we loved to hate on OTH, and she was always good in her role in the original. My only concern is that all this blast from the past casting is going to be the downfall of the new show, seeing as it didn’t do the new 90210 any great benefit. I guess we’ll see come fall right? 😉 Source
ABC’s new series Happy Town is adding a few new people to the population. Steven Weber ( Wings, Brothers & Sisters ) is in the works to take over the role of John Haplin, the man Haplin, Minnesota was named after. The role was played by Dean Winters (Life on Mars) in the pilot. Also being recast is the role of John Haplin’s son, played by John Patrick Amedori (Gossip Girl) in the pilot, which will now be played by Ben Schnetzer. Full article here with Zap2It
It’s being reported by Ausiello, that Maura Tierney (ER) who had to put filming her new show Parenthood on hold for undisclosed health issues, has issued a statement that explains she has to undergo surgery to remove a tumour in her breast. There is yet to be a final diagnosis, or a course of treatment decided. The prognosis is good at the moment. The actress will be back to work as soon as she can. I’m happy to hear she’s in a positive state of mind and I’m sure it’ll all work out. Best wishes Maura, we all love you!
That’s all for now, I’ll be back tomorrow with more news, have a great night everyone.
