TV News – 9/15/09

I can’t believe it’s Tuesday already, and although there isn’t a new episode of Hell’s Kitchen tonight due to the season finale of More to Love, there is a lot of great TV tonight. We’ve got the season finale of Big Brother, and some drama over at CW with 90210 and Melrose Place. Now onto some news.

Dollhouse has made a Wise decision in adding Ray Wise (Reaper) to the cast of the show. Wise will be playing Howard, “an intelligent higher-up in the Dollhouse who has huge presence and humour”. I love this casting news, and I love Ray Wise. His portrayal of Satan on Reaper was funny yet intimidating, and he was also delightfully devilish on Twin Peaks. Check out the second season of Dollhouse which starts on September 25th on Fox. Source

More after the jump.

Here’s some spoilers on some of your favorite shows to tide you over until the premieres, shows like Grey’s Anatomy, Private Practice and Fringe. Will Izzie and Alex survive her cancer treatment, on Grey’s? How about Fringe, will Peter and Olivia ever really have a romantic relationship? If you are curious, and like the spoilers click the link, but as always if you don’t want to know then don’t click 🙂 Warning SPOILERS ahead.

David James Elliott (JAG) is set to star in a Hallmark Channel Movie called, Man of The House. The story is about a man who loses his wife, then loses his job and becomes a full time stay at home Dad, with the classic moment of the dad realizing how much he’s missed by not making time in his life for both work and home. It’s sure to be a sweet, funny, and predictable movie, but I do really like Elliott so I’ll give it a chance. The movie will premiere sometime 2010. Source

Some casting news, Gavin Rossdale is set to guest star on Criminal Minds. Rossdale will be playing a “Goth rock star who is too consumed by the character on stage”. The team thinks that his character on stage may really be a serial killer. Criminal Minds premieres on Wednesday, September 23, at 9 pm on CBS. Rossdale will be on later this season. Source

In closing, here’s a clip of the premiere episode of Grey’s Anatomy, for you to enjoy until the premiere on September 24th. Don’t watch if you don’t want to spoil it for yourself, I liked it, and I’m sure I’m going to love the season premiere. So Enjoy!

Alright, that’s all for tonight. Check back tomorrow for my views on the winner of Big Brother 11, and more news. Thanks for reading.
