TV News – 9/18/09

I’ve been in British Columbia for a week now, and wow, things are so different, but we’re all adjusting. Friday brings new episodes of Eureka and Psych, next week we’ll see more premieres, and this weekend I’ll bring you a weekly review. For now, let’s get to some news.

Chuck is adding another guest star in the way of, Vinnie Jones (X-Men: The Last Stand) who is also a former English football star. He’ll be appearing in the Spring as a character named Karl Stromberg who’s “an expert hit man with a soft side.” This guest star news is on top of all the other guest stars that are lined up for the third season, including Brandon Routh (Superman Returns) and Kristin Kreuk (Smallville). I’m excited for all these stars and it looks like season three is shaping up to be a great one on Chuck. Source

More after the jump

Two and a Half Men premieres this Monday, September 21st and E!News is catching up with Kelly Stables who plays Melissa, Alan’s (Jon Cryer) on again and off again girlfriend. For some mild spoilers and some details on the season to come, check out the article here

Some Big Love casting news, Sissy Spacek (The Coal Miner’s Daughter) has signed on for a multiple episode storyline, playing a Washington, D.C. lobbyist. Spacek is a great actress, and has been nominated for an Academy Awards six times. I think she’ll be a fantastic addition to this already hard hitting show. Source

Sometimes, I really envy Ausiello, especially when he’s hob nobbing with all hot stars like Adrianne Palicki (Friday Night Lights) and Alan Tudyk (Dollhouse) which FYI Ausiello, I DID know were a couple. (I may or may not have seen it in a gossip magazine šŸ™‚ lol ). Anyways, Ausiello has a video with the couple concerning their current projects and when we may expect to see them return to the above mentioned shows. It’s only slightly spoilerish, but enjoyable, so check it out here

Okay that’s it for tonight, I will be back sometime this weekend for a weekly TV review, and of course that will include a review of last Sunday’s excellent True Blood season finale. Have a good weekend.
