TV News – 10/13/09

Tuesday and tonight is the season finale of Hell’s Kitchen and new episodes of NCIS and NCIS: Los Angeles, so let’s get to some news and then you can get to your TV watching later. (Note from Jenny: Sorry this is late! It was much earlier when Megan had this ready!)

Never before has one character on a CSI franchise appeared on all three shows, until now. Laurence Fishburne who plays Dr. Ray Langston, will guest star in CSI: Miami then CSI: NY and finally finish the story line up on his own show, CSI. The three part crossover starts on Monday, November 9th, then on Wednesday, November 11th and finishes up on Thursday, November 12th. I’m looking forward to this and I can’t think of a better person to do the crossover than Fishburne, I’m happy about this news. Source

More after the jump.

I’m happy to announce the return dates for two of ABC Family’s top shows, The Secret Life of the American Teenager and Make It or Break It return Monday, January 11th. Both of these shows had strong showings the first half of their seasons and I’m really excited to see where these series head with the storylines. My only problem will be what to watch and what to TiVo! Source

There is a slight possibility that TNT will pick up NBC cast off Southland, if only to air the 6 episodes that are already filmed. I just hope that Southland gets a chance to gain new viewers and gain some ground, this TV blogger is behind it and will cover it if they bring it back. So if you’re reading TNT bring it back and I’ll cover it. 😀 Never hurts to try 😉 Source

Both Ausiello and Kristin over at E!Online are hinting at a big death on a popular show, but Kristin has the point today for awesome hints with her saying it’s on Heroes, and her hints point towards someone BIG! I won’t spoil it for you but head over to E!Online and read the article then guess away!

CBS is ghouling it up for Halloween with creepy special episodes of the following shows, NCIS, The Mentalist, Ghost Whisperer, Medium and Numb3rs, and all of the above sound like they’ll be frighteningly good. Check out the program descriptions over at The Futon Critic

That’s all folks, I’ll be back tomorrow with your review of Hell’s Kitchen and more news, have a good night!
