TV News – 10/15/09

Busy day today, actually just a busy week. How about Glee last night? Great right? Anyways, on to some news.

Some sad news for So You Think You Can Dance, Choreographer Mia Michaels has left the show. I cannot believe this, she’s so amazing and she’ll be missed on the show. The following statement was released by Nigel Lythgoe, “…She knows that she is always welcome to return later this season or next. She’s chosen to move on to new challenges and we will continue to support her and wish her all the best.” 🙁 This is terrible news, she’s one of my favorite choreographers. I hope the others can rise to the challenge and make some brilliant routines. Source

More after the jump

Some news from The CW network, Rob Thomas the creator of Veronica Mars *cheers* and Mark Schwahn the creator of One Tree Hill are both developing projects for the network. Thomas is writing and producing a drama type show named, Plymouth Rock about a group of young travelers aboard a space ship heading to find another planet to live on and breed to save the human race. Sounds like fun! lol. No really anything by Thomas will get my attention because Veronica Mars was so underrated in it’s brilliance, I loved that show!
Mark Schwahn is working on two projects, Spy School for Girls and Nashville, both sound okay but I’m not doing back flips.

Looks like Sara (Jorja Fox) is going to be staying on CSI for longer than the originally thought 5 episodes. I guess the long distance relationship between her and Grissom is working, and there are still no plans to bring Grissom (William Peterson) back. I’m okay with Jorja staying around a bit longer, it’s been nice to have her back on the team. Source

Tricia Helfer (Battlestar Galactica), will be guest starring in an an episode of Two and a Half Men this season. Helfer will play a friend of Chelsea who is going through a break up and comes to live with Chelsea and Charlie to get over it. The episode will air on November 16th. Are you interested? Source

Lastly, here’s a juicy spoiler chat brought to you by the genius Ausiello, it has details on some of your favorite shows including Grey’s Anatomy, Criminal Minds and Fringe. As always don’t click the link if you don’t want to be SPOILED.

That’s all for today, don’t miss all new episodes of Grey’s Anatomy, Supernatural and Bones tonight. Good night.
