TV News – 10/21/09

Wednesday and I’m happy. Why, you ask. Well, I’m feeling a little better, and my fever is down. πŸ˜€ Also it’s Glee night! As well as Criminal Minds, and Modern Family, all of which make my night exciting, if I get a chance to watch them all. πŸ™‚ Let’s get to some news.

Speaking of Glee, Madonna has given permission to FOX to use her catalogue of songs on the show! Expect an all Madonna song episode sometime in 2010. I could see renditions of, Papa Don’t Preach or Material Girl. What songs would you like to see? Source

More after the jump.

The CW has ordered a full season of both The Vampire Diaries and Melrose Place. I’m torn with this news, I mean it’s great that the network was smart enough to renew, The Vampire Diaries as it’s been a strong show so far, with a decent following. Melrose Place on the other hand is yet to knock the ratings out of the park, but I’m sure this will change once the Queen ‘B’ herself, Amanda Woodward (Heather Locklear), comes back to Melrose in November. Locklear made the show years ago and they’re hoping she’ll save it now. Source

According to Ausiello, Jerry O’Connell will be paying his wife Rebecca Romijn a visit over at Eastwick. O’Connell will be playing “Colin, a hot new neighbour of Kat’s (Jaime Ray Newman) who is hiding a dark and magical secret.” Look for him somewhere around episodes 12 and 13. I love this news because who doesn’t love Jerry O’Connell (Crossing Jordan, Stand By Me) and Eastwick has been decent so far (I’ve only seen 2 episodes at the moment.). What are your thoughts?

It looks like we’ll get more Abby (Pauley Perrette) from NCIS on it’s new expansion, NCIS: Los Angeles, but this time it’ll be more than just on the phone. Not only do I enjoy Abby immensely but I think she could use the sun. πŸ˜‰ However, it’s not all good news for our resident Goth lab girl, while in LA she’s going to get abducted. I can tell you that I would gladly take her place as long as I was getting rescued by Chris O’Donnell and LL Cool J :D. Look for our dark sweetheart on NCIS: LA on the November 24th episode. Source

That’s it for tonight, enjoy your night I know I will! πŸ™‚
