TV News – 10/28/09

Wednesday, and this will be my last news post for a couple days while I’m moving into the new house. Jenny will be here to take care of you guys and I’ll be back Sunday or Monday with my weekly review and more news.

Sherri Saum (Rescue Me, In Treatment) will be appearing on Gossip Girl later this season as a “powerful business executive-turned-Upper East Side trophy wife”, named Holland Kemble. It seems that Saum’s character may be stirring up mischief with Lily (Kelly Rutherford) and Rufus (Matthew Settle) so that could be fun. There’s no news on when her appearance will happen, but as always when I know, you’ll know. 😀 Source

More after the jump

Some behind scenes drama over at Brothers & Sisters, it seems that Monica Breen and Alison Schapker are no longer the show runners and veteran writer for Brothers & Sisters David Marshall Grant, will be stepping in. Breen and Schapker will apparently serve as executive producers and writers on the show “concentrating more on development.” I don’t know what this is about but Ausiello has his nose into it so when he knows, I’ll know and then you’ll know 😀

Table For 12 will be returning to TLC with all new episodes. The series follows the Hayes family, who have three sets of multiples including a set of sextuplets. I actually really like this series, Eric (the dad) is a police officer and so funny. The mom, Betty, is just a regular stay at home mom, I find her quite realistic to what we all go through. So catch this look into a sweet family’s dynamics on November 10th at 8 pm on TLC. Source

Fox isn’t signing the death certificate yet on ‘Til Death, the network has decided to put the series on Sundays starting January 10th with 2 episodes starting at 7 pm. This space is currently occupied by Brothers but that show will finish it’s 13 episodes on December 27th. Source

That’s all for now, I’ll be back next week with news. Have a Happy Halloween!
