TV News – 11/06/09

TGIF! I’m sorry the news is so late but I was gone all day taking my daughter to get her flu shots and doing errands. I just didn’t get to the computer until now but here’s the news, better late than never. πŸ˜€ (PS- there was a slight mix up yesterday and Thursday’s news went MIA, but I’ve combined them so you get double the pleasure πŸ™‚ )

Katee Sackhoff (Battlestar Galactica) is coming to The Big Bang Theory and will have some words of wisdom for Wolowitz concerning his relationship, but oddly they’ll be delivered from a bathtub. Yes I said bathtub! Sackhoff will be playing herself and I’m sure this will be every geek’s fantasy, so tune in on Monday November 23rd at 9:30 pm on CBS. Source

More after the jump.

Ausiello is dishing up some spoilers on some of our favorite shows such as, Chuck, House & Grey’s Anatomy . As always don’t click the link unless you want to be SPOILED!

Looks like we’re getting another Private Practice and Grey’s Anatomy cross over show. Sometime in early January Addison (Kate Walsh) will be heading back to Seatle Grace to perform a surgery after being asked by Mark Sloan (Eric Dane), then the story will continue on Private Practice. This has me asking if Addison is going to cause issues in the Mark-Lexie relationship, or if it’s going to help Mark realize how over Addison he really is. Hmm.. Thoughts? Source

CBS is borrowing some of it’s talent from other shows to lend some voices on the Holiday special, Yes, Virginia. Neil Patrick Harris(How I Met Your Mother) and Jennifer Love Hewitt (Ghost Whisperer). The Christmas Special will be airing on December 11th, at 8 pm on CBS. The story will center around Virginia (Beatrice Miller) and her struggle to discover if Santa really exists. It sounds like it could become a new holiday favorite, so check it out. Source

A&E is going to be airing The Jacksons : A Family Dynasty premiering December 13th at 9 pm and it will follow Jackie, Jermaine, Tito and Marlon. The brothers are reuniting for a 40th anniversary Jackson Five concert and it’ll also show them dealing with losing Michael. There will be 6 episodes total. I’m not sure if I’ll be watching it, but I may check it out for nostalgia sake. Source

Showtime has announced the premiere dates for some of our favorite shows, such as Nurse Jackie, United States of Tara and The Tudors. Our favorite cranky nurse will be back March 22nd, along with United States of Tara which couldn’t make me happier. I love Nurse Jackie and I am looking forward to the second season a lot! For more information on this and other premieres head over to Zap2It

According to Ausiello, Desperate Housewives is jumping Back to The Future again. At least it’s only for one episode this time! Sometime in January the show is expected to have an episode that has numerous “What If?” scenes, with flashes of the kids, MJ and Celia (Gaby’s youngest) in their 30’s. Sounds to me like another attempt to draw an audience, but what can I say I’ll be watching, what about you? Source

That’s it for now, I’ll be back later this weekend with my weekly review. Have a good weekend.
