TV News – 11/11/09

First let me say thank you to all the men and women who have risked their lives for my freedom. It’s Remembrance Day in Canada today, and no matter what your view on wars and other such things, I am still grateful to all the men and women who have allowed me my life. Let’s move on to topics not so serious, like the TV news 😉

The CW had a flop with The Beautiful Life, but don’t write the new show, Life UneXpected, off because of it. This show looks like it’s going to be funny, emotional and a good family show, so basically everything The Beautiful Life was NOT. Life UneXpected premieres on Monday, January 18th on The CW network. You’ll love it but don’t just take my word for it (although I’m sure you will 😉 ), watch the promo below.

More after the jump

Melissa George (Grey’s Anatomy) is joining the cast of Lie to Me as the nutty wife of an older billionaire who has been killed. I think George was fantastic on Grey’s and will bring some flare to Lie to Me so I’m in. She’ll be on the show sometime around the 11th episode, so check it out on FOX, Mondays at 9 pm. Source

Ausiello is the king of exclusives lately, and although I don’t have as many moles (or any 😉 ) I can let you in on his secrets. 😀 It seems that Sheila Kelley (L.A. Law) will be getting Lost. Kelley will likely be playing, “Kendall, an intellectual beauty with a sharp edge to her wit who is caught committing corporate espionage and has to lie her way out.” Sounds like an interesting role, thanks for the info Ausiello!

November 20th was already a day I was really looking forward to because of New Moon but now I’m equally excited about another premiere. The premiere of James Franco as Franco on General Hospital, although creativity was lacking with the character’s name, it would seem the story line is going to be far from boring. Seems Franco is going to be a killer with talents to equal resident enforcer Jason, and judging by the promo below it’s going to be a fight to the death for some. Check it out below and don’t miss Franco’s premiere on November 20th on General Hospital on ABC.

Okay, I’m off to spend the day with my husband and daughter as it’s a statuary holiday here today, so enjoy your day!
