TV News – 11/12/09

Thursday and I’m glad tomorrow is Friday! What about you, are you ready for this week to be over? Let’s get some news and then we can all go on and enjoy the last part of the CSI trilogy and a new Grey’s Anatomy.

Say it ain’t so! Dollhouse is being steamrolled by FOX. *sigh* Unfortunately, it’s true, FOX isn’t going to be ordering anymore episodes after the first 13 of the second season, but still plans on showing the last episodes in December. I know that the show isn’t doing the best in ratings, and it was lucky to get a second season, it’s still just a bummer. Oh well, there’s always DVD sets right? Source

More after the jump.

FOX has been casting it’s new comedy Keep Hope Alive, with three new actors. Martha Plimpton (How to Make It in America) will be playing the mom to Jimmy (Lucus Neff). Jimmy is a young dad who’s left to raise a baby girl after her mom goes to prison. Wait, how is that funny? Who knows, but Olesya Rulin (High School Musical) will be joining the cast as a waitress who Jimmy sets his sights on. I don’t know if I’ll tune in but I’ll let you know when I hear about it’s premiere date, etc. Source

Well it would appear that ABC has been cutting loose dead weight this week and is adding Hank to the cancellation list. I don’t see this as a bad thing or much of a surprise. Hank starring Kelsey Grammer was a weak point in the Wednesday night comedy line up, and ABC has no plans as of yet to show any more episodes. RIP Hank, although I’m sure even Grammer knew it was coming. πŸ˜‰ Source

The wonderful Minnie Driver (Will & Grace) will be guest starring on ABC hit comedy, Modern Family sometime in January. She’ll play a friend of Claire’s (Julie Bowen) and they get in touch after a while of being out of touch. This show just gets better and better every week and I can’t wait for this match up. Source

Finally for tonight, I’m going to link you up to a spoiler chat by Ausiello, with details on some favorites such as Glee and Grey’s Anatomy. It’s worth a read but as always if you don’t want to be spoiled then do NOT click the link! SPOILERS AHEAD!

That’s all for now, I’m off to spend some time with my TV and some tea! I’ll be back tomorrow with more news! πŸ˜€
