TV News – 12/03/09

Last night’s Glee was fabulous wasn’t it? Loved all the Rachel and Finn stuff, as well as seeing Quinn really give her opinion to Sue. Alright enough about my Glee obsession (did I mention that volume 2 of the Glee soundtrack comes out December 8th? 😀 ) Let’s get to some news before people start thinking I work for FOX or something lol.

Some news on one of my other favorite shows, True Blood. This superb show just added two very sexy men to it’s season 3 cast. Grant Bowler (Ugly Betty) is set to play “Coot, the leader of a pack of werewolf bikers.” Also Theo Alexander (Chuck, Pushing Daisies) will play Russell Edgington, the vampire partner of the vampire king (Denis O’Hare). I’m excited about these additions to the cast, because we can never have too many attractive men on one show can we? Source

More after the jump.

Sons of Anarchy has been renewed for a third season after having a nice success with it’s second season. FX has renewed the series for at least 13 more episodes, and it will come out sometime September 2010. I’ve honestly only seen a few episodes of this show, but what I’ve seen I have to say was pretty good. My husband loves it, so he’s really happy about this news. Source

If you happen to be in New York City on December 4th, do not panic if you see white rabbits riding the Subways, Buses or Commuter Rail lines. This is a campaign to draw interest for the 4 hour movie event on Syfy, Alice. These bunnies are looking for Alice and the Hatter, and they are destined to meet up with the pair at Union Square. The special will star Kathy Bates (Misery) and Caterina Scorsone (Crash). I’m actually looking forward to the premiere on Sunday, December 6th at 9 pm, because who doesn’t love a classic right? Tonight we are going to get a treat with two back to back episodes of Private Practice, and in honour of that The TV Addict has another great interview, this time with hottie Taye Diggs. Diggs’ character Sam has been dealing with many personal issues this season, but tonight the issues hit home. Warning, that this interview may contain slight spoilers so reader beware. Check it out here!

Alright that’s it for now but be sure to catch the new episodes of Private Practice tonight starting at 9 pm on ABC, and if that’s not your cup of tea there are also new episodes of Bones Fringe over on FOX at 8 pm. Have a good night.
