I can’t believe what a good night of TV we have tonight! That’s right people I officially have no life. 😀 Honestly, between the crossover of Grey’s Anatomy and Private Practice and the new episodes of Bones and Fringe I’m happy. On top of that I have some decent news for you today so let’s get to it!
Woo-hoo! CBS has renewed NCIS: Los Angeles for a second season. I couldn’t be happier about this news, I know some think it’s just another crime show, but it’s really proven itself so far this season as a show with compelling story lines and fantastic characters. They also renewed the Julianna Margulies drama, The Good Wife for a second season as well. I’m not surprised about either renewals and think they’ll continue to provide strong ratings for seasons to come. Source
More after the jump.
The Ray Ramono comedy, Men of a Certain Age, has been picked up for a second season. The show has been doing decent in ratings and seems to have built a faithful following. I’ve seen an episode and although I’m not raving yet, I do think it was amusing. Source
Ausiello is back with a great spoiler chat including some delicious dishing about Glee, Gossip Girl and House, so if you love spoilers get ready to be happy. If you don’t like to be happy, and therefore do not like spoilers then do not read the article. Warning: SPOILERS AHEAD
If nothing else good has come out of this late night TV debacle, one thing has, and that’s more scripted TV for NBC. Mainly Trauma which was becoming quite good which returning, and the premiere of Parenthood. I just wish we knew what was going to happen to Conan, but I’m sure we’ll hear in a bit. Finally, after the episode of American Idol last night, I wouldn’t be very good at my job if I didn’t address the song, that is sure to become infamous, written by General Larry Platt. It was hilarious, and so true of the way some of these boys dress now a days. The thing is today it is a YouTube frenzy of remakes, I’ve found a couple including the original that are worth watching, so check them out below and have a good laugh. Some of the people doing the cover of the song could be definite contestants on American Idol.

This guy has an awesome voice.
This one was a bit different
Overall, I hope you had a good laugh at that song, and if you didn’t, it’s okay because I did. 😀
That’s all for now folks, enjoy Thursday night TV and I’ll be back tomorrow with more news.
