Did everyone have a great weekend? I did. It was busy but I’m loving having my sister here to visit. That’s enough about me, let’s talk news!
Christopher Lloyd will be heading over to guest star on Chuck to play a therapist who treats Chuck when work becomes too stressful. Expect Lloyd to make his appearance in the 16th episode which will be in April or May. I’m excited about this casting because who doesn’t love Christopher Lloyd? Source
More after the jump .
Minka Kelly (Friday Night Lights), has been cast in the CBS comedy pilot, True Love. The comedy will “focus on four friends looking for love in New York. Kelly will play Kate, who’s described as sweet, strong-willed and midwestern.” Kelly is adorable, and hopefully the comedy can live up to it’s CBS team members, such as How I Met Your Mother and The Big Bang Theory. Daniel Dae Kim (Lost) has been cast in one of the lead roles in the new CBS remake of Hawaii Five-O. Kim will be playing Detective Chin Ho Kelly, and what’s better is that the series will film in Hawaii, meaning he won’t have to leave where he has been filming Lost. Rumours have it that Alex O’Loughlin(Three Rivers, Moonlight) is in talks to take the role of Steve McGarnett, but I’m hoping that CBS comes to their senses and thinks about putting O’Loughlin on the new Criminal Minds spinoff 😀 Anyways, I’m happy about Kim having a new show because he’s a good actor, but I’m not overly jazzed about a Hawaii Five-O remake yet. Michael Chiklis (The Shield) has been cast in the ABC drama pilot No Ordinary Family, and also serve as the shows co-executive producer. The drama is “centered on a family that suddenly develops special powers”. I’m so excited for this pilot, and I’m overjoyed to have Chiklis back on TV again. Source
