TV News – 2/10/10

I had another busy day, but I do have some news for you so let’s get right to it!

OMG! I am not happy. Rena Sofer (General Hospital) is going to be guest starring on Bones as a possible love interest for… BOOTH! That SUCKS! According to Ausiello who broke the story, Sofer (who is currently playing a possible love interest for Gibbs on NCIS), “will be playing Dr. Catherine Klein, a marine biologist with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration who has been called into the Jeffersonian after finding human remains inside a dead tiger shark. Sparks fly between her and Booth, and the two agree to go on a date.” I’m hoping this date is just a gate way for Brennan to realize how much she loves Booth, and then their relationship will begin. Whatever the case I’ll let you know when the episode with Sofer as the enemy to our Booth/Brennan relationship is coming so we can get prepared to hate her 😀 .

More after the jump.

Molly Shannon (Saturday Night Live), is coming to Glee. Shannon will play an enemy to Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch), named “Brenda Castle, she’s the busty 45-year-old new astronomy teacher and badminton coach at McKinley High School who is both an alcoholic and a pill-popper.” This sounds HI-LAR-I-OUS! I love Lynch and I love Shannon, these ladies are bound to have some memorable cat fights and I’m so excited!!! Glee needs to hurry up and get back on TV before I go crazy. 😀 Source

Sarah Wayne Callies (Prison Break) will be appearing on House where she’ll play a patient. Her character will also be in an open marriage, which will leave the door wide open to House and his usual ribbing. I’m happy about this because I loved Callies on Prison Break and think she’ll do a great job on House, I just wish it wasn’t only a one episode gig. 🙁 Source

That’s it for now, I’ll be back tomorrow with more news. Watch for an interview with Kara DioGuardi from American Idol later this week. In the meantime, catch all new episodes of Criminal Minds at 9 pm on CBS and American Idol at 9 pm on FOX. Enjoy!
