This Week on TV – 2/14/10-2/20/10

Welcome to a new week of TV! It’s a busy week but not so busy that it makes my head spin! There are a few premieres and finales, as well as Olympics all week. Check it out! Jump with me to view this week’s schedule!

Sunday

Sunday is the series premiere of How To Make It In America on HBO at 10/9c. This new comedy series follows two enterprising Brooklyn twentysomethings as they hustle their way through New York City, determined to achieve the American Dream by making a name for themselves in the competitive fashion scene. Bryan Greenberg (October Road, One Tree Hill), Victor Rasuk, Luis Guzman (John from Cincinnati), Eddie Kaye Thomas (American Dad, ‘Til Death), Lake Bell (Boston Legal, Childrens’ Hospital) and Scott “Kid Cudi” Mescudi star.

Tonight is also the series premiere of Peak Season: Vancouver on VH1 at 11:30/10:30c. The show offers a unique glimpse beneath the sparkling surface of this world-class ski resort and home to the 2010 Winter Olympics revealing the raw, real-life drama that unfolds amid the breathtaking scenery. Featuring a diverse and dynamic cast, the series delivers a potent blend of drama, action, romance and comedy as the cast follow their hearts and chase their dreams all during the frenetic pace of peak season. A lot happens in this resort playground when the locals and outsiders from around the world co-exist as everyone struggles to find love, friendship and themselves. While every town has stories and secrets, few rival the ones from Vancouver as captured in this smash hit series.

There are 3 season premieres tonight. First up is the season premiere of The Amazing Race on CBS at 8/7c. It’s also the 1-hour season premiere of Ruby on the Style Network at 8/7c. Finally, it’s the 90-minute season premiere of Tool Academy on VH1 at 9/8c.

Last up, tonight is night 3 of 17 of the Olympic Winter Games 2010 on NBC, starting at 7/6c.
