Sunday is a really slow night because of the holiday in the US. Tonight is the 4th of July, so there are specials on two networks.

Wednesday is the season finale of Ghost Hunters International on Syfy at 9/8c. It’s also the season finale of Dinner: Impossible on Food Network at 10/9c.
Tonight is the series premiere of Come Dine with Me on BBC America at 9/8c. It follows four total strangers across the UK competing for the title of the ultimate dinner party host. Each episode features a new city and a new group of amateur chefs as they take turns cooking up their idea of the perfect dinner party. As well as cooking, the rival hosts snoop around each others’ houses and go to bizarre lengths to win the competition. At the end of the evening, the host is judged by their guests and the contestant with the most points wins a cash prize.
Following that is the series premiere of The Choir on BBC America at 10/9c. This U.S. premiere, BAFTA award-winning series, has spellbound UK audiences and created an unlikely reality star in choirmaster Gareth Malone as he attempts to recruit a choir in the most unlikely of settings. From schools with no tradition of music to blue collar neighborhoods in need of a community focus, Malone is a man on a mission. It’s an emotional journey of shocks and surprises, challenges and rewards with heartwarming results.

Tonight is the series premiere of Haven on Syfy at 10/9c. It’s based on the novella The Colorado Kid from renowned author Stephen King, follows FBI agent Audrey Parker (Emily Rose, John from Cincinnati, Brothers & Sisters, Jericho), who arrives in the small town of Haven, Maine to solve the murder of a local ex-con. Before long, her natural curiosity lands her in the epicenter of activity in this curious enclave, which turns out to be a longtime refuge for people with a remarkable range of supernatural abilities. Among the townspeople are local cop Nathan Wuornos (Lucas Bryant), who eventually becomes Audrey’s partner, and the mysterious and charming Duke Crocker (Eric Balfour, Six Feet Under, Veritas: The Quest, Conviction, 24).

Saturday is the 2-hour series premiere of The Bridge on CBS at 8/7c. It’s a new drama about a tough and dedicated police officer who is voted to become the police union’s dynamic leader. The series, based on the insights of veteran insider and outspoken former Toronto police union head Craig Bromell, chronicles a charismatic union leader who is working parallel campaigns in a big city police force – battling criminals on the street and fighting his own bosses, and sometimes corruption in the ranks, to protect his fellow officers. It stars Aaron Douglas (Battlestar Galactica), Frank Cassini, Michael Murphy, Ona Grauer (Stargate Universe, Black Sash), Paul Popwich (Angela’s Eyes) & Theresa Joy.
