ABC’s freshman drama, Rookie Blue, is quickly becoming a favorite of mine. Missy Peregrym is fantastic as lead, Andy McNally, and Gregory Smith’s Dov Epstein reminds me of George from Grey’s Anatomy when that show first started. In fact, Megan and I actually compared character to character the two shows after last week’s episode, and I can see myself becoming as obsessed with this show as I did the medical drama.

On this week’s episode, while other rookies get ready to duke it out at the police department’s annual “Fite Nite” charity event, Andy wrestles with a dilemma of her own: Should she keep a promise to protect a domestic abuse victim who has been repeatedly let down by the system – even if it means breaking police protocol to do the right thing? After the end of last week’s episode, what will Charlotte Sullivan’s Gail do regarding Andy’s attraction to former undercover cop, Sam?
Tonight I’m going to go with the season premiere of Big Brother at 8 pm on CBS. I know that some people are getting tired of this show, but I can’t help but watch. It’s one of my reality addictions, because the people are so crazy sometimes. I love the insanity of putting all these different characters in a house, adding trials and watching them bubble. I’d have to say it’s a great experiment of human nature and ever year we see a different reaction by someone. All that and also that it’s just funny and amusing to watch. Don’t miss it tonight at 8 pm on CBS. Later today I’m going to do a run down of the contestants this year and tell you what my thoughts are. Happy Viewing!
