I had a great time interviewing Kim Raver (Grey’s Anatomy) today about her new Lifetime movie, Bond of Silence. The movie will air on August 23rd on Lifetime and the interview will be up later this week. Now onto the news.
Richard Schiff (The West Wing), has signed on to join Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior (the spin-off premiering midseason). Schiff will be playing FBI director Jack Fickler, and it will be a recurring role. Unlike a lot of my fellow TV bloggers I am excited for the spin-off because I enjoy the original, and Kirsten Vangsness (Garcia herself 😉 ) will be appearing on both series this season. Source

Andie MacDowell (Happiness Runs), and Rosa Blasi(Make It or Break It) are joining the cast of the new FOX series, Lone Star. MacDowell, will mostly likely be playing a love interest for Jon Voight’s character. Blasi, will be playing the trophy wife of Mark Deklin’s character, Trammell. I really enjoy Blasi on Make It or Break It , so I hope that she’s going to be double duty on both shows. Who knows lol. Source
Rosie O’Donnell is coming back to daytime television, on the OWN network (Oprah Winfrey’s network). The new talk show will come out sometime in 2011, and will be based in New York. It will also be produced by Rosie and be similar to the good ol’ days of her original show. I’m okay with this news as long as she doesn’t go off the deep end with her chatting again. I actually really enjoyed her original talk show, and would watch a show with the similar idea. Would you?Source
