If We Controlled Your Remote… 9/14/10

Welcome to all our new readers! I hope you’re all enjoying the new layout, and enjoying our guest blogger, Lisa from StarryMag.com! She’s terrific, and it’s been fun to have her so far this week. Maybe she’ll enjoy it enough to stick around and give you a third choice every day after this week, huh? Leave us a comment below and let her know you want her to! Meanwhile, check out below what I think you should be watching tonight. 🙂

Tonight is the 2-hour (well, it’s 2 episodes) season finale of Covert Affairs on USA at 9/8c. This has been a fantastic season of a brilliant new show, and I am very sad to see it come to the end of its season.

On this first episode tonight, Annie finds herself in a position where she must go undercover for her next assignment so she can infiltrate a smuggling ring by getting them to hire her; Arthur and Joan approach former agent Henry Wilcox with a job offer to come back. On the second episode, the season finale, Annie finds herself in a difficult situation when her ex-boyfriend Ben Mercer enters CIA headquarters, drudging up their past woes from their relationship, but things get worse when they are teamed up for a rescue mission to Sri Lanka.

Now, I believe that when all is said and done, Auggie and Annie will make a great couple, but I have to admit, I do think Annie’s ex is adorably sexy. lol Speaking of Auggie, his portrayer, the fabulous Chris Gorham, is on Twitter regularly and loves to Tweet with his fans. Check him out at @Chris_Gorham and tell him @tvismypacifier sent you! (But be sure you keep it clean! He’s got young kiddos who love to see what Dad is tweeting about!)

Parenthood fans have been waiting with baited breath for the Braverman family to return! This crazy, mixed up family bounds into season two with all new dramas, heartaches, laughs, and tender moments that any family can relate to. There has to be one person in your own family that you recognize in the Braverman’s. The much anticipated season two premiere has Adam stressing out in a big way from a combination of his family and his demanding boss (guest star William Baldwin). The pressure mounts as Adam fears he may be leading himself to an early grave. Tune in to NBC at 10/9c to be a part of this great family.

Megan’s Choice

Last season when Life UneXpected premiered it pulled on heart strings across America (and Canada as well 😉 ). It’s one of those great shows that draws you in to the characters lives making you feel their hopes and dreams as if they were your own. In fact when the show was on the bubble at the end of last season, the fans rallied (with help from Kristin over at E!Online, and her “Save one Show” campaign) and the show was saved! 😀

In tonight’s episode, Cate and Ryan return from their honeymoon and quickly deal with issues at the radio station. Baze is fighting his lingering feelings for Cate by hooking up with his new bartender and Lux reaches a crossroads in her relationship with Bug. Sounds to me like another fabulous episode, so tune in to the CW at 9/8c.

Happy Viewing!
