TV News – 9/28/10

I am really loving this new season of television aren’t you? There are so many great new shows, and there have been fabulous premieres of our old favorites. With a new season of television comes lots of wonderful news stories flowing in so let’s get to them.

The USA Network just gets smarter and smarter! They have renewed White Collar, Royal Pains and Psych for more seasons. They have all been picked up for at least 16 more episodes. The USA Network has been growing by leaps and bounds, making it’s mark as a network that is worth watching. I love Psych and White Collar, so I’m happy with this news. Source

More after the jump.

Dita Von Teese is coming to CSI to play a beautiful, classic “femme fatale”, who will “get personal” with Sanders (Eric Szmanda). The executive producer says her character will “tantalize and torment”. This sounds like a delicious and interesting story line and I think that Sanders deserves some love even if it’s only for an episode.Source

Lifetime television is launching a new series called The Fairy Jobmother, and it will premiere on October 28 at 11 pm after the season finale of Project Runway. After it’s premiere it will move to Thursdays at 9 pm. This series will follow Hayley Taylor a career specialist as she helps job-challenged families. She will help them get back to work and organize their lives. In today’s economy we could all use a little help don’ you think?

Jack Coleman (Heroes), is in talks to guest star on The Office. He’d be playing a government official “who possesses a ‘Jon Hamm-esque wholesomeness”. In addition to this news don’t forget that Coleman will be guest starring on an episode of The Mentalist airing October 14th, where he’ll play a husband accused of killing his wife’s murderer.Source

That’s all for now, but don’t forget to enjoy the fall television season, and take some time to relax! Happy viewing. 😀
