TV News – 10/11/10

Happy Thanksgiving to all my Canadian readers. 😀 I had a busy day filled with dinner guests, pumpkin pie and lots of dishes. All that aside it was a fabulous visit, but now I’m ready to sleep. First, I’m going to bring you a few tidbits of news.

Prison Break producers Matt Olmstead and Nick Santora are trying to get Robert Knepper to star in their new show, Breakout Kings. The greatest part is that he’d be playing his original Prison Break role as T-Bag. The show follows the partnership between the U.S. Marshal’s office and a group of convicts, who band together to help catch fugitives on the run. It should premiere in early 2011, and I’m actually quite excited aren’t you? Source

More after the jump.

NBC has officially cancelled, Outlaw, moving the remaining episodes to Saturday night at 8/7 c. The drama failed to find it’s footing against such hard competition of shows such as Blue Bloods. I never got into it, and only managed to get through one episode. Farewell, hope that NBC finds another show that will help them stand a chance against CBS on Fridays. Source

Harold Perrineau (Lost), will be guest starring on an episode of The Whole Truth). Perrineau will play a psychic who helps lead the NYPD to the body of a young woman. I personally really enjoy this new show, and hope that you too can find a spot in your heart to watch The Whole Truth, Wednesday nights at 10 pm on ABC.
That’s all for now. I hope you all had a great weekend and are looking forward to the week ahead of you.
