If We Controlled Your Remote… 11/15/10

NBC released their spring schedule, and it’s a doozy. A three hour comedy block on Thursday, shows moving around, the premiere of Parks and Recreation… Lots of good stuff. Find out more on news later. For now, though, let’s see what we think you should watch!

I debated back and forth between Chuck and Castle for my pick today, but one thing pushed me over the edge for Chuck, and that is the appearance of Summer Glau as this week’s Greta. Summer starred with Adam Baldwin in Firefly, and has been in other fan favorites, such as Dollhouse, The Unit, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, and is going to be in the new NBC show, The Cape, premiering in January. I love her, and can’t wait to see her dealing with Morgan on tonight’s episode.

On tonight’s episode, Chuck worries that his latest setback is driving a wedge between him and Sarah, and he tries to prove himself by going on a dangerous mission with an overeager agent; Morgan and Casey scramble to uncover a woman’s identity. It’s become a bit of a Monday tradition for me to suggest Hawaii Five-0 and this Monday will be no different. (What can I say I tend to be a creature of habit 😉 ) Yes, I love Alex O’Loughlin, but I love this show for so many other reasons than just him. The dynamic of the cast is wonderful, and the story arcs are intriguing.

On tonight’s episode, an infamous dictator becomes the target of an assassin when he visits the islands. Five-0 must protect him while also investigating the murder of a security guard involved with the visit who apparently knew the details of the planned assassination. Tune into CBS at 10/9 c to watch the case unfold as well as drool a little over the sexy cast. Learn where to find episodes online of Hawaii Five-0 @ Clicker.

You loved “Let’s Go To The Mall” and couldn’t help but to indulge in “Sandcastles In The Sand.” Now you’ll have an all new number to cherish on tonight’s episode of How I Met Your Mother. Barney finds a copy of a kids’ show that features Robin’s alter ego, Robin Sparkles, which leads the group to learning a lot more about Robin’s past as a Canadian popstar than they ever expected.

Watch CBS tonight at 8/7c for another episode that’s legend…wait for it…dary! Learn where to find episodes online of How I Met Your Mother @ Clicker.

For tonight, dear readers, I am picking something light for your viewing pleasure. How about some 90210? I know. I might be getting several “Are you crazy?!?!” comments, but I promise you, the show has gotten better this year.

Tonight’s 90210 should be the latest in a string of solid episodes this year due to the writers finding their stride, making the show must see TV in my personal opinion. With story lines like Teddy’s coming out, Naomi’s rape, and more, the cast and crew has continued to shock me in terms of how great the show has improved from a lackluster second season.

If you tuned out, then catch up through a Wiki page and join in on the ride. 90210 airs on the CW @ 8/7c. Learn where to find episodes online of 90210 @ Clicker.
