If We Controlled Your Remote… 11/24/10

Welcome to Thanksgiving week Wednesday (aka Friday)! This is Jose from DaemonsTV.com, and it has been a blast being a part of “If We Controlled Your Remote…” this week. Before you head out to the bar for some partying or to your final turkey feast destination, remember to set your DVRs so that you don’t miss any of your shows. From all of us, have a Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving is the one day a year we are encouraged to pig out and go back for seconds (or thirds, fourths… you get the picture). Therefore, my recommendation for Wednesday night involves tuning in and seeing how a professional does it. Man v. Food is a Travel Channel show that has host Adam Richman traveling to various locations across the US looking for the biggest eats around. Along the way, Adam takes on some of the most insane eating challenges – with interesting results along the way.

Tonight brings us a special edition of Man v. Food called The Carnivore Chronicles. These episodes focus on some of the best meat-centered meals Adam encountered in his travels, while showing some never before seen footage. In this episode, “Sacrilicious”, has Adam checking out hot dogs in Syracuse, barbeque in Detroit, and some awesome food in Chicago.

I love watching Man v. Food because it combines two of my favorite pastimes, food and travel. Adam is a great host that enjoys what he’s doing and has fun with each new challenge. I’m not sure I’d ever try any of the challenges Adam takes on, but I’ve found a lot of great dining spots I can’t wait to try out.

It has been a blast guest posting this week! Thanks again to the team at TVIsMyPacifier.com for letting me be a part of “If We Controlled Your Remote…” Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Man v. Food: The Carnivore Chronicles airs tonight at 9/8c on the Travel Channel. Learn where to find episodes online of Man v Food @ Clicker.

As I mentioned earlier this week, this is our last night this week for the Remote posts, because there is so little on the next two days. We’ve had a great time with Jose here, and hopefully he’ll come back again soon and do a full week! If you enjoyed him, let him know!

Last week was the season premiere of Human Target, and it was just as good as I remember it being last season. There are 2 new women joining the cast this season, and we got our first introductions to them last week. I’m excited, because it’ll be nice to have some estrogen on the show! lol

On tonight’s episode, Chance is hired to protect a woman who also happens to be the wife of a man who he killed seven years ago; Ames hopes that Guerrero will take her under his wing; Ilsa is shocked by what she happens to discover about the business.

Tonight is the last night for us this week, and I hope you all enjoy your Thanksgiving. I think you should be watching Hell’s Kitchen tonight on FOX. This season has been full of incompetent chefs, major melt downs, and last week we finally saw Sabrina go home. I’m looking forward to seeing the chefs left battle it out. I’m cheering for Nona, who’s your favorite?

On tonight’s episode, the five remaining contestants prepare and serve their signature dishes in downtown-L.A.. A food truck at lunchtime. The winner receives a Beverly Hills makeover by hairstylist Jose Eber and fashion guru Steven Cojocaru.

Tune into FOX at 9/8c to see who goes home next. Learn where to find episodes online of Hell’s Kitchen @ Clicker.

Get on the modern bandwagon and tune in to an all new episode of Modern Family! This charming brood have captivated the nation with their humor, charm, smarm, and dysfunction! After last week’s episode with the flash mob at the mall, you can not say you don’t love this show. It’s captured the heart of America and each episode continues to wow and stun viewers.

Tonight’s episode has Cameron’s mother (Celia Weston) making Mitchell extremely uncomfortable, while Haley decides (yet again) to break up with Dylan.

Watch the cards come crumbling down tonight on ABC at 9/8c. Learn where to find episodes online of Modern Family @ Clicker.
