If We Controlled Your Remote… 11/28/10

It’s Sunday, the start to another week. Did you have a good Thanksgiving? This week, we have Matt, from TVFanatic.com as our guest poster. You can catch him on his site or on Twitter (@tv_fanatic). He will have a lot of great things to recommend this week, so be sure and check it out every day. When you visit his site, be sure you let him know you came from us! Now, on to tonight’s recommendations!

Matt’s Choice

Greetings, my name is Matt Richenthal, and I’m the Editor-in-Chief of TVFanatic.com. Our site reviews pretty much every show on television, while also offering updated photos, quotes and spoilers. I critique favorites such as House, Glee, The Good Wife and The Vampire Diaries. Follow both myself and all our writers on Twitter: @tv_fanatic.

I’d like to thank Jenny and the TVIsMyPacifier staff for this opportunity, and kick things off by recommending this evening’s episode of Dexter. With just three hours remaining in season five, storylines are finally converging, as “In the Beginning”will feature Miami Metro questioning Jordan Chase and Dexter/Lumen trying to stay one step ahead of this motivational speaker/dangerous psychopath.

I’ll review the episode in depth soon after it airs, and will be anxious to hear everyone’s take on it. Learn where to find episodes online of Dexter @ Clicker.

Megan’s Choice

I was going to suggest you watch CSI:Miami tonight, but seeing as it’s a repeat, I’m going to have to go with The Amazing Race. It doesn’t matter how many seasons of this adventure we come across, I love it, and it never gets boring. I’m not a huge fan of Nick and Vicki, and the previews show them having a meltdown, so one can hope they end up getting eliminated.

On tonight’s episode, the final four teams race in Hong Kong, where some participants become violently ill during a challenge. Tune into CBS at 8/7c to see how this fabulous human experiment turns out. Learn where to find episodes online of The Amazing Race @ Clicker.

Lisa’s Choice

Cleveland rocks! This spinoff off of FOX’s other gem, Family Guy, has wowed viewers and has been widely chatted about with the slams and jabs it’s given many controversial topics, much like Family Guy. Whether it’s religion, race, or rednecks, you better believe no one and nothing is safe!

Tonight’s episode of The Cleveland Show has patriarch Cleveland all a-fluster and upset due to Donna’s bossy sister (voiced by hilarious comedian Niecy Nash) and her unruly kids who are visiting them in Stoolbend for Thanksgiving.

You can laugh along to the insanity every Sunday night and catch The Cleveland Show tonight on FOX at 8:30/7:30c! Learn where to find episodes online of The Cleveland Show @ Clicker.

Jenny’s Choice

There’s not a lot on tonight, and since Matt and Megan chose two shows I might otherwise recommend, I’m going with Iron Chef America. Tonight’s episode is the first that The Next Iron Chef winner, Marc Forgione, will be competing as an Iron Chef. I liked him a lot on The Next Iron Chef, so I’m definitely going to be rooting for him tonight!

Iron Chef America airs tonight on the Food Network at 10/9c. Learn where to find episodes online of Iron Chef America @ Clicker.
