If We Controlled Your Remote… 12/7/10

Tonight’s television line up is just bursting at the seams with Christmas goodness, and I for one can’t wait to indulge in some joyful celebrations. Let’s see what we all think you should be watching tonight to get you in the holiday spirit.

Megan’s Choice:

It’s Tuesday, which means that my night will be full of Glee! I admit to buying the Glee Christmas CD, and I will also admit that it’s fabulous! My daughter loves the CD so much that it plays every single day when she’s in my van. If you haven’t listened to the CD yet or seen the previews, prepare yourself for an awesome performance by Darren Criss and Chris Kolfer of Baby It’s Cold Outside.

On tonight’s episode, Finn tries to bring some holiday cheer to McKinley High, and Artie finds out that Brittany still believes in Santa. Meanwhile, the teachers pick their Secret Santas, and one particularly manipulative staff member rigs the gift-giving.

Tonight is full of holiday celebrations on Syfy, as both Eureka and Warehouse 13 are airing Christmas episodes! I can’t just pick one, so you get a double dose! The episodes are standalone, which means they don’t fit in to what is going on with the show’s normal storyline. So for Eureka I would assume has not gone back into the past and Carter & Alison aren’t a couple. (Click the picture to see the full version. It’s cute!)

On Eureka, as the Global Dynamics employees celebrate the season at the company holiday party, staff member Dr. Noah Drummer (guest star Chris Parnell) nearly absconds with a volatile experiment. The halls get seriously decked when Dr. Drummer’s unstable hydrogen crystal starts to grow at a frightening rate. Carter and Henry attempt to deal with the potentially explosive crystal, but before long the true scope of the problem is revealed, and it will take more than tinsel and carolers to save Christmas and Eureka. Former series regular Matt Frewer also returns as Taggert.

You know you’re watching it! Raising Hope has become the fall seasons new comedy darling. Whether you’re white trash or high class, you can’t go wrong with the Chance family. There has to be something in there, or someone, that you know can relate to! At the end of each episode, you really come to realize that there is a little Hope in all of us as well.

Tonight, Burt lets Jimmy in on his annual holiday scheme, while Virginia enlists the entire family in the church’s living Nativity.

Tonight’s episode of Warehouse 13 is also a standalone episode, which means Myka hasn’t quit. If you missed it, check out my interview with stars Eddie McClintock and Saul Rubinek.

In tonight’s ‘long lost’ holiday episode of Warehouse 13, as the Warehouse team prepares to celebrate the holidays in snowy South Dakota, Pete and Myka are called upon to hunt down a malevolent Santa Claus. Meanwhile, in time for Hanukkah, Artie and his estranged father, Isadore Weisfelt reunite after 30 years. Award-winning actor Judd Hirsch guest stars as Artie’s father. Paul Blackthorne also guest stars as a harried workaholic who becomes terrorized by a strange series of robberies committed by a thief dressed as “jolly old Saint Nick!”

Don’t miss this great new special episode on Syfy at 10/9c. Learn where to find episodes online of Warehouse 13 @ Clicker.
