TV News – 12/7/10

I haven’t been feeling 100% the past few days, which is to be expected, but I’m here tonight to update you on some news. Then it’s back to bed to rest, and try to regain some of my energy. 🙂

In the category of “Bad Decisions for $2000”, we have the news that FX has decided not to renew Terriers for a second season. The word, stupid, comes to mind. Terriers is one of the best new shows of the season that you are apparently not watching. I was just getting into it too! FX I’m disappointed in you for not giving the freshman series another season to get a bigger audience. Tsk. Tsk.Source

More after the jump.

FOX has decided not to pick up the back nine episodes of Lie to Me, with no real reason given. The drama is in it’s third season and while it continues to put up decent numbers, especially in the last episode. They are however giving the timeslot to the new Shawn Ryan series, The Chicago Code (formerly known as Ride-Along). Hopefully, FOX decides to give it another season but we won’t find that out for a bit. How do you feel about this news? Source

That’s all the news for tonight, I’ll try to bring you more tomorrow. 🙂

I am dissappointed about Terriers. It is really a good show. I think it deserved a little more time to find its nitche.

It is hard to get excited about any new show – if it doesn’t pull the numbers it is off the air. 🙁
