It’s hard to believe it’s Friday the 7th already. Seems like just yesterday, it was Christmas. Now? My baby is about to turn 13! I just turned 34, and I didn’t feel old. But realizing my kid is going to be a TEENAGER on Sunday?! THAT makes me feel old! lol So yeah, I’m praying the clock slows down enough to realllllllly drag out the next few days, but unfortunately, I don’t think that’s going to happen. At least I’ve got new TV to console me! 😉 We want to thank Jim for guest posting with us this week. He’s been fun to have, hasn’t he? Thanks, Jim! 🙂

There isn’t a whole lot to choose from tonight, but I’m happy, because there is a new episode of CSI: NY. Tonight, we get a special treat, too, because David James Elliott (JAG, Scoundrels) guest stars as FBI Agent Russ Josephson, Jo’s ex-husband.
On tonight’s episode, when a man in a full clown costume shoots a bakery owner, the CSIs investigate and discover a decision from Flack’s past that may put him in jeopardy.

I don’t know about you, but after seeing the real Allison Dubois on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, it’s hard to watch an episode of Medium the same way ever again. Regardless, this intriguing show brings up a lot of questions, and the drama that this family goes through only continues to draw viewers in. It’s funny… this show always feels so voyeuristic to me, like we’re looking in on someone else’s life, and we really sort of aren’t meant to.
Tonight’s episode has Allison in a stir when she awakens from a dream and becomes suspicious of her brother’s (guest star Michael Benoit) recent success. Meanwhile, Devalos’ campaign manager takes quite the interest in Bridgette’s abilities.

I really enjoyed having Jim post with us this week, he’s been a wonderful addition and hopefully he’ll grace us with his awesome presence again sometime. Okay, on to my choice, because let’s be honest it’s all about me. 😉 Tonight I think you should be watching an all new episode of CSI: NY because as Jenny pointed out David James Elliot (JAG) is guest starring and simply because I enjoy the show. I know a lot of you think that crime shows are over done, and you’re right in a way, but I still can’t help myself. It’s part of my TV addiction, that at the moment I have no plan on finding a cure for. 🙂

It’s the end of a busy week being at the TCAs, but a highlight came yesterday when the OWN network did several panels, one of which with Oprah herself. So, because I’m still a little high from the experience of having Oprah address the room of TV Critics, I’m going to watch the third brand-new episode of Season 25-Oprah Behind the Scenes.
In tonight’s episode, we go backstage to Liza Minnelli’s visit to The Oprah Winfrey Show and see what went on when the main cameras stopped rolling and we were able to see everything else.
After less than a week on the air, the OWN network has been offering up some really great new shows, and it will be interesting to see how the network and its programming does over time. That said, for now at least, I know my curiosity is still peaked, and I’m going to let the DVR record Smallville and Supernatural (which normally would be my Friday night pick) and hang with the big O.
The new special tonight airs at 9/8c on OWN. Learn where to find episodes online of Season 25: Oprah Behind the Scenes @ Clicker.
