If We Controlled Your Remote… 1/21/11

TGIF! There’s something magical about Fridays isn’t there? I’m so excited for the weekend to be here, and hopefully I’ll get a day to sleep in… high hopes. šŸ™‚ Well, besides the happy thought of sleep, tonight is bringing us some great new television. Let’s see what we think you should be watching. By the way, from all of us here on the Remote posts, we want to thank Jason (@theTVaholic) for guest posting this week again. We enjoyed having you! Please feel free to stop back by anytime!

Tonight is the season premiere of Kitchen Nightmares, and I’m so excited. Earlier this week, I got a chance to interview Gordon Ramsay, so keep your eyes on the site in the next couple days to read that interview. Ramsay is excited for this season of Kitchen Nightmares, and he really enjoyed helping all the businesses. I love this show, especially watching people’s reactions to the truth about their food.

On tonight’s season premiere, Chef Ramsay visits the Spanish Pavillion in Harrison, N.J. He finds the family-owned eatery has bickering owners, undercooked food, and an outdated atmosphere.

Tune into FOX at 8/7c to watch Chef Ramsay work his magic. Learn where to find episodes online of Kitchen Nightmares @ Clicker.

Are you ready for Fringe Friday? I sure am. I’m not overly enthused that FOX has moved it to Friday night, as many a show has gone there to die. RIP Dollhouse, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles and most recently The Good Guys. But with the move, it instantly becomes the best show on the night, and FOX has actually been promoting it. So, hopefully those two things will help it find enough of an audience that it lives on past this season. Anna Torv has really grown in the role and John Noble is always fantastic. I can’t wait to watch.

Tonight, the team is working with an observer to help fix a mistake, and Walter befriends someone that he admires. The first half of the season was outstanding, and the promos for the upcoming episodes look exciting. Christopher Lloyd (Back to the Future!) guest stars.

Fringe plays tonight on FOX at 9:00/8:00c. Learn where to find episodes online of Fringe @ Clicker.

The time has come for the end, and so we’ve reached the series finale for Medium. After all of the tales that have been woven on this intense and twisted show, the last one shows a climax of the Dubois family as their future is foretold. Medium was a great glimpse into the life and talents of the real Allison Dubois, portrayed through Patricia Arquette, and an in depth and new view on the afterlife.

On tonight’s series finale, the Dubois family faces a permanent change, when Allison and Joe begin new careers that take them in many different directions.

Watch Medium come to a close tonight in a one hour finale at 8/7c on CBS. Learn where to find episodes online of Medium @ Clicker.

I can’t decide between the series finale of Medium and the new episode of Fringe on its new night, and since both shows have been recommended already, I just want to say… Happy Watching! Whatever you choose to watch, I hope you enjoy!
