Hello my lovelies! I haven’t been around as much as usual because frankly this pregnancy has been kicking my ass the past few weeks. I’m still doing okay, and baby boy is growing but I just have to be a bit more careful these days. Only about 5 or 6 weeks left to go at the most I hope, and then we’ll have a healthy baby boy, and I’ll get my body back! Okay, enough rambling about me and my health issues, let’s take a look at some of the news that’s been going on.
William Petersen will be reprising his role as Gil Grissom on Thursday with a cameo. Petersen has been gone since 2009, and we’re being told that his cameo has something to do with Jorja Fox, who is his wife on the show. We’re supposed to believe that Grissom and Sara are married but maintain a long-distance relationship while he travels and she works back at the lab. This week story has Sara going to the school for the deaf where Grissom’s mom works, and we’ll see that the mother-in-law is not Sara’s greatest fan. I wonder how this will affect the whole Sara/Grissom story line, if it does at all? Any theories?Source
More after the jump.
Unless you’ve been living under a rock you already know that Charlie Sheen has entered rehab (again), and that production on Two and half Men has been halted for the time being. We all know where I stand on this, but in case you don’t know, I’m sick and tired of Sheen’s antics, and feel his selfish behaviour is unfair to the rest of the cast. I am not fan of the show, and frankly while I used to think Sheen had some acting talent lately the only thing he’s good for is playing himself on TV. In my humble opinion, (and mark the work ‘opinion’ 😉 ), it’s time for the show to close up shop, and move on. I feel bad for the rest of the cast who has to deal with the publicity of Sheen’s actions, and how it affects their careers. I also feel bad for Sheen who can’t seem to get his act together. It may not be the popular opinion but it’s mine. 😀 To see some funny opinions from the boss of the show, Chuck Lorre, head over to E!Online. If you want the whole original story here’s a link to the LA Times.
Geoff Stults (Happy Town, October Road, 7th Heaven), has been cast as the lead in the new Bones spinoff, titled, The Finder, which will be launched in episode 19 of the main series. The spinoff is based on The Locator books written by Richard Greener. Stults will play, Walter Sherman, “a former military policeman who can find anything.” I’m excited about the prospect of the show, If it’s half as fantastic as Bones, and I’ll be watching. Source
Mark Deklin (Lone Star) has been cast as Danny’s ex-wife’s Rachel’s new husband, Stan, on Hawaii Five-0. It seems that Stan is an “international businessman who recorded a corrupt Housing Commissioner demanding a bribe and threatened to indict the man. Stan’s behaviour has unwittingly put Grace and Rachel in danger. He’s humbled by Danny’s anger and grateful for his help.” Stan first appears in the February 7th episode of Hawaii Five-0, and I think it’s going to be a great story line for Danny and I’m excited. Jonah Hill’s production company, JHF, has signed a TV development deal with FOX. With the deal, FOX has bought an untitled comedy written by Hill, which he might also direct. Hill is already in business with FOX, as he co-created and does the voice for the lead character in the animated comedy, Allen Gregory, which has had seven episodes ordered for next season. The series was created by Hill and his co-creators Andrew Mogul and Jarrad Paul, and follows an extremely accomplished 7 year-old going to elementary school. I think Jonah Hill is a talented comedian, and I look forward to seeing what his production company brings to the table. Source
That’s all for now folks, thanks as usual for reading, I appreciate the support. Hope you enjoy your week, and don’t forget to take some time to enjoy all the great television on! 🙂
