If We Controlled Your Remote… 2/7/11

Well, from a really SLOW night, to a really BUSY one! It’s crazy how many new episodes there are tonight! We’ve attempted to narrow down what we think you should watch, though. Talk about a hard decision!

The last episode of Castle (2 weeks ago) was so brilliant, and I was so sad last week when there wasn’t a new one on. But guess what? It’s back! Talk about make my day! Heck, this really makes my week. 😀 I haven’t seen the new episode yet, but I’ve seen a handful of clips, and it promises to be fantastic. There is one scene between Beckett and Martha that just about makes you squee. 🙂

On tonight’s episode, Castle and Beckett find a plethora of suspects after a recent lottery winner winds up dead, and everyone in the precinct fantasizes about what they would do with the winnings; Martha inherits money she feels that she doesn’t deserve.

Don’t miss what is sure to be another great episode of my current favorite show on ABC at 10/9c. Learn where to find episodes online of Castle @ Clicker.

Everybody hates Mondays. It’s true. It signifies the end of the weekend and the start of another week of work. Don’t fret though, ABC Family has come up with the cure to the Monday blues in the form of Pretty Little Liars. Whether you are 13, 16, 21, 35, or 50, this is a show that all age ranges can get behind. There has to be an emotion that these girls are feeling that you’ve felt before and can recall. Drama unfolds every Monday night, with viewers waiting with baited breath and anticipation for a clue towards to who “A” is.

Tonight, we find the Liars at a crucial swim meet for the Rosewood Sharks, where turmoil reaches a boiling point. Emily and Paige (guest star Lindsey Shaw) begin round two, as they battle one another in order to compete for the anchor leg of the big race. Caleb calls in a favor from Hanna as she tries to deter Aria from asking too many questions about Aria’s mom snagging a ticket to the museum opening. Spencer begins tutoring a fellow student in an effort to try and get some answers. As secrets and lies become revealed the Liars may be facing quite a game changer!

Another week of great television coming your way, and why not start it off with Hawaii Five-0? Whether it’s the intricate story lines or the comedic relief provided by the cast, it’s always an enjoyable hour of my day. Of course, it never hurts that the cast is so easy on the eyes either. 😉

On tonight’s episode, the lone witness in a high-profile murder case disappears and Five-0 must find the missing woman before hired assassins kill her.

Tune into CBS at 10/9c to see if the team can save her in time. Learn where to find episodes online of Hawaii Five-0 @ Clicker.

The best new series of the 2010-2011 season kicks off on Fox tonight. Shawn Ryan, the genius behind The Shield, brings viewers The Chicago Code, a police-based drama with much grander ambitions than your basic procedurals.

The show centers around the first female Superintendent of Police in Chicago history (Jennifer Beals), who assigns two detectives the authority to take on any investigation they desire, as long as the outcome is the eventual imprisonment of a dirty politician (Delroy Lindo).

Filmed on location, The Chicago Code is well-acted, well-written and well-paced. I can’t recommend it strongly enough.
