If We Controlled Your Remote… 2/8/11

It’s hard to believe that’s it’s a week into February already, and TV is well on it’s way to being fabulous for February sweeps. Tonight’s full of all new episodes of a lot of our favorite shows, so let’s see what we think you should be watching tonight.

It’s a special week for me, because Glee is going to be on twice. 😀 Not only did we get treated to an insane Super Bowl episode on Sunday, and let me just say I loved the Thriller performance, but tonight we get a special Valentine’s Day episode. I was lucky enough to see a preview screening of the episode, and it is REALLY good. (Of course I’m slightly biased.) Honestly, on tonight’s episode there is a lot of character development, and some surprising relationship developments, that make you go “huh, why didn’t I think of that?” 🙂

For Valentine’s Day, Finn sets up a kissing booth, but things don’t go as planned. Cupid shoots some unexpected arrows and some old feelings are hard to get over.

There are way too many shows on for me again tonight, including the series premiere of Only in America with Larry the Cable Guy (check out our interview with him coming up this afternoon!) and the season premiere of Top Shot, but one that looks like it’ll be a great episode is also one of my favorites. NCIS: LA is always great fun to watch, and if you like that kind of thing, full of great eye candy. 😉

On tonight’s episode, Callen catches a home intruder breaking into his house. The intruder happens to be a former KGB operative, and leads the NCIS team to a greater case involving a shipment of counterfeit computer chips illegally entering the United States.

One of the funniest new comedies to come out this Fall season is Raising Hope and new episodes start back up tonight! The Chance family returns, and you know some hair brained scheme or hilarious out of this world family dilemma is going to go down. FOX has struck gold with this family centered comedy that is unlike any other. Cloris Leachman leads a dynamite team of cast members that include Garret Dillahunt, Lucas Neff, Martha Plimpton, and Shannon Woodward, who all go above and beyond for the laughs.

Tonight, Jimmy sets up a play date for Hope after meeting another single dad, but freaks out when he learns that Virginia is his new friend’s housekeeper.

My pick tonight is The Good Wife on CBS.

On tonight’s episode, viewers will welcome the return of Michael J. Fox, as Alicia once again butts heads with Louis Canning. Elsewhere, Peter and Eli try to determine the best way to capture the youth vote, and Kalinda likely wears a short skirt.
