If We Controlled Your Remote… 2/15/11

It’s Tuesday, which means we all survived Monday. Yay! Megan is spending time with her sister and hopefully getting the rest she needs to keep that bun in her oven. Everyone keep your fingers crossed little Pherson decides to stick it out a while longer! 😉 Jose is back in town, which means tonight’s post is in his words, not mine. (I’m sure you’re all very glad about that! 😀 ) So, what’s on tonight that’s worth watching? Let’s find out!

CHIPs! Get a load of tonight’s episode! The team is suspicious of an undercover centure involving a deal between corrupt cops and military personnel, so Callen and Sam try to expose the illegal operation by posing as corrupt California highway patrol officers.

Yes, seeing Sam dressed in the uniform last time is now coming to fruition, as evidenced by the picture to the left. How hot are they?! *snicker* Seriously, though, NCIS: LA is fantastic, and it just keeps getting better, imo. Even when they look funny and odd, wearing a uniform like they are tonight. 😉

Let’s be honest, after a few rough years (maybe decades), Detroit is now on the comeback trail. Playing an important part in the city’s second act is ABC’s Detroit 1-8-7, my pick for Tuesday night. The show follows the detectives of Detroit’s Homicide Division as they fight crime and try to keep the city safe as it rebounds. While Michael Imperioli excels as the enigmatic Det. Fitch, the rest of the cast is also good, with James McDaniel and Shaun Majumder (Dets. Longford and Mahajan) providing some well timed comic relief that will steal episodes. What I love the most about the show is how it gives an honest portrayal of the city, never sugarcoating the bad and not overplaying the positive. It’s a great show that is on the bubble for next season, so please check it out before it’s too late.

On tonight’s episode, Longford and Mahajan are assigned a bludgeoning case that reveals a few surprises, including the victim’s role as a drag queen; Fitch and Washington investigate an ex-con’s confession, but secrets complicate the investigation into the case.

Detroit 1-8-7 is on tonight at 10/9c on ABC. I look forward to hearing what you think about it. Learn where to find episodes online of Detroit 1-8-7 @ Clicker.

Give them a chance, and they will win you over! The Chance family has humor and family fun that is unlike any other TV family you’re going to see. They are not your cookie cutter family, and that’s the way I like it! Keep your eye on Cloris Leachman, who always steals the show–I mean literally steals the show–as Maw Maw.

Tonight, the entire Chance family becomes obsessed with cleanliness and decide to move Maw Maw to the greenhouse. Also, old home movies reveal what it is that keeps the family so healthy!

It’s Tuesday, and since Glee returned with some really strong episodes last week, I’m excited for this week’s episode. Well, almost excited… I am not looking forward to hearing a Justin Bieber song. Who knows, maybe it’ll sound better sung by someone else. 😉

All kidding aside, tonight’s episode looks amusing. Sue gets musical when she starts a tribute band. Meanwhile, Rachel wants to elevate her social status and gets help from an interesting source, when Brittany comes to her rescue.

Tune into FOX at 8/7c to see Sam take on a Bieber song. Learn where to find episodes online of Glee @ Clicker.
