If We Controlled Your Remote… 2/24/11

Being sick sucks. Like, majorly. I think it’s the weather changes. Thankfully, there’s lots of good stuff on tonight to take my mind off my cold AND the weather! So let’s see what we think you should watch, shall we?

My first of two (cause I can) picks tonight is the new episode of The Mentalist. I really love this show, and although I’m not digging some of the storylines (Ok, mainly that Rigsby/Van Pelt story–put them back together, dammit!), it’s still be fantastic this season. I’ve even enjoyed the new boss, for the most part, although that may change tonight, as evidenced by the picture…

On tonight’s episode, the CBI team investigates the murder of an antiques dealer found dead in a museum, but the evidence suggests that the suspect may be a member of CBI. We’ve bee leading up to finding the person who set the guy on fire while he was in custody, so will tonight’s episode bring that storyline to a head, too?

I have been absolutely loving this season of Grey’s Anatomy. The story lines for all characters have been moving along nicely, and I’m really hoping that Lexi can forgive Mark and get back together.

On tonight’s episode, Meredith discovers that her fertility treatments are causing problems with her eyesight. Mark tells Callie and Arizona in no uncertain terms that he intends to be an active dad, and April sees a side of Dr. Stark (Peter MacNicol) she wasn’t expecting.

Tune into ABC at 9/8c to see how Mark proves that he’s daddy material. Learn where to find episodes online of Grey’s Anatomy @ Clicker.

Why weren’t my college days and friends like the ones on Community? Ok, I know they’re all fictional, but I’m still seriously jealous! This band of misfits seem like the best of friends, and even in the face of absurdity, like the Halloween episode, they laugh! If you can stare down some zombies and not only stay alive, but also make some smarmy quips, you’re golden! Each episode of Community is riddled with humor and obscure nonsense, with some undertones of a lesson learned. I know that seems like a weird mix, but it really works, and it is the right recipe for this must see show.

Tonight, the Greendale campus prepares for a visit from the Vice President, while Annie, Jeff, Leonard, and Star Burns compete in the school’s very first student election. Abed makes a new friend in a secret service agent (guest star Eliza Coupe).

I couldn’t let the season finale of Royal Pains air without mentioning it. We’ve been leading up all season to Divya’s marriage to Raj, whether she’ll go through with it or not and leave Hank Med. Surely not, but honestly, I have no idea what’s going to happen. That’s why I’m so excited about tonight’s season finale!

On tonight’s episode, Hank believes that one of his patients has been misdiagnosed by another doctor and sets out to find the real cause of the man’s illness. When Divya and Raj take dance lessons to prepare for their marriage, they inadvertently become patients. Gilles Marini & John Legend guest star.
