If We Controlled Your Remote… 3/11/11

Yay, it’s Friday! I love the weekends, because it means more time spent with my family. My kid just started Spring Break (he is off today and all next week), so I’m going to have PLENTY of family time! Eek. lol Anyway, speaking of family, Lisa is back, although still slightly under the weather. Welcome back, Lisa, and feel better! Now, on to what we think you should watch!

Jenny’s Choice

One of my favorite activities is curling up with my hubby and watching some great TV. Our favorite show to watch on Fridays? The Defenders, starring Jim Belushi, Jerry O’Connell, Jurnee Smollett, and Tanya Fischer. We love it, because it’s always highly amusing, while still being incredibly heartwarming occasionally. The two men are defense attorneys who really go above and beyond to defend their clients, and who really care. It’s so much fun to watch. Tonight is the season finale, so please please give this show a chance. I’m crossing my fingers we get a 2nd season!

On tonight’s episode, it’s “Morelli v. Kaczmarek,” when the law firm is no more, because Nick and Pete temporarily dissolve their partnership so they can both represent a couple accused of murdering a yoga instructor. Frank Sinatra Jr. guest stars as himself.

Don’t miss tonight’s season finale on CBS at 8/7c. Learn where to find episodes online of The Defenders @ Clicker.

There are a few shows on television that can pull me in week after week. One show has fought it’s way to the top of my must see TV list and makes sure my Friday night date with my husband always ends the same way. I’m talking about the fabulous drama Blue Bloods. It’s not just the stories or the cast, it’s every little detail that goes into the show that makes it worth my time and yours. (Of course, it doesn’t hurt that Donnie Wahlberg is adorable in his role. 😉 )

On tonight’s episode, a former Marine war hero who was homeless is murdered, and Danny, a former Marine himself, takes the case personally. Meanwhile, erroneous information about Frank running for mayor is leaked to the press.

Tune into CBS tonight at 10/9c to see this family of cops take on the bad guys and take no prisoners. Learn where to find episodes online of Blue Bloods @ Clicker.

One of the most talked about shows that will chill you to your core is Fringe. Drama, intrigue, and a whole lot of mystery surround this show that has so many viewers glued to their couches. For the team that investigates the quirky (which is putting it REALLY lightly), there is never any dull moment. Something strange going on in your neighborhood, who you gonna call? Nope, not the Ghostbusters. The Fringe team!

Tonight, the team investigates a group of thieves who are able to break the laws of gravity. Meanwhile, Walter attempts to delay the damage he has inflicted. Alan Ruck guest stars.

Tune in to an all new episode on FOX at 9/8c. Learn where to find episodes online of Fringe @ Clicker.
