If We Controlled Your Remote… 4/1/11

Yay, it’s Friday! I’m so glad it’s almost the weekend. Dunno why, but this week has been SO slow. lol Anyway, can I just say, last night’s The Big Bang Theory had me cracking up something fierce. It was funny, because my son came down yesterday evening and said he had been playing Game X (I have no idea…something on the Xbox, but I know it wasn’t World of Warcraft) and some guys had come on, and he thinks they were hackers, because they had given everyone full money, weapons, etc. Then, when they left, my son’s and his friend’s accounts had dropped to almost nothing. So that sucked. But then, hours later, I turned on my recorded The Big Bang Theory, and the same type of thing had happened to Sheldon. I nearly died laughing. That really has nothing to do with tonight’s TV, but I couldn’t help but tell the story because it was just too big of a coincidence not to be funny! Now that I’ve bored you to tears, check out what we think you should watch tonight. 😉

There are actually a lot of things on tonight I think you should watch. The last 2 episodes of the season for Working Class, the series premieres of Chaos and Camelot (on Starz), and what should be a fantastic new episode of Blue Bloods. But since Lisa & Jamie both chose CBS shows, and tonight, CSI: NY is featuring Jo, I’m making that my top pick for you. I’ve really really enjoyed having Sela Ward come on this season. I miss Melina Kanakaredes, but Sela is really working well with the rest of the cast. Tonight’s episode focuses a lot on her, and I couldn’t be happier.

On tonight’s ep, Jo must learn to balance her personal and professional challenges when her adopted daughter, Ellie, is the key witness in a murder investigation.

Don’t miss it tonight on CBS at 9/8c. Learn where to find episodes online of CSI: NY @ Clicker.

We’ve got shorthand for pretty much everything nowadays, such as OMG, LOL, WTH, so I’m going to start a brand new one. I’m calling my new shorthand NYAP (Not Your Average Procedural). It really fits this show to a tee, as Blue Bloods always goes out of bounds. The cast, the writing, the tone–it’s all unique, new, and something that you need to be watching on Friday nights. Families can tune in and share some quality time together and know that they are getting a show that’s going to full on captivate them.

Tonight, after Danny witnesses a murder, a member of his family is put in jeopardy in an attempt to stop him from testifying.

A brand new show is airing on CBS this evening, and it’s called Chaos. From the name alone, you are sure to experience exactly what it promises.

The premise behind Chaos is that the CIA Deputy Director decides agent Rick Martinez (Freddy Rodriguez) is the perfect person to infiltrate a group of unruly agents. Unfortunately for Martinez, the misfits find out the true reason for Martinez’s presence and blackmail him into following their rules. Personally, I am excited to see funny Freddy Rodriguez return to television and find former Without A Trace star Eric Close back at CBS. Also, movie fans will enjoy seeing O Brother Where Art Thou actor Tim Blake Nelson as part of the rogue agents in need of babysitting.

Tune in to CBS at 8/7c to see if Agent Martinez and Chaos survive their first day on the job. Learn where to find episodes online of Chaos @ Clicker.
