If We Controlled Your Remote… 4/12/11

It’s time like these that I think I should have taken up juggling. 🙂 I find myself being pulled in a dozen different directions these days, and yet, it’s all worth it. When my daughter finally goes to bed, my baby boy is fed and taking a little nap, I get my reward for a day of being mommy, and that’s sitting down to watch some TV. Tuesday is a great night for new episodes, so let’s take a look at what we think you should be watching tonight.

Megan’s Choice

There are so many great shows to choose from tonight, but I have to suggest that you watch an all new episode of NCIS: LA. I know, there are so many crime shows on television right now, and a lot of them tend to get repetitive, but every episode NCIS: LA delivers us a fabulous storyline and enjoyable cast interaction. Whether you watch for the cases, for the delicious LL Cool J, or the hilarious and talented Linda Hunt, I promise, you’ll always be entertained.

On tonight’s all new episode, Eric goes undercover in the field for the first time, after a rocket-engine expert is killed and Hetty (Linda Hunt) wants to ensure that classified satellite technology is safe.

Tune into CBS at 9/8c to see how our adorable computer geek does in the field for the first time. Learn where to find episodes online of NCIS: LA @ Clicker.

Lisa’s Choice

The fans have spoken, and Body of Proof continues to garner new viewers week after week. It’s easy to see why, too, with the charm and savvy personality of Dana Delaney. She’s got sass, spunk, and a lot of sarcasm. She plays Dr. Megan Hunt, a Medical Examiner who used to be a neurosurgeon, until she was in a car accident. Ever since the accident, she has had trouble with her hands going numb, so she had to leave her practice. Couple her with a handsome Medicolegal Investigator named Peter Dunlop played by the gorgeous Nicholas Bishop, and goofy Forensic Pathology Fellow Ethan Gross (Geoffrey Arend), and you’ve got smiles all around. Megan, of course, butts her nose in where she doesn’t belong and takes far too many field trips outside of the examiner’s office, but that’s what makes this show work. Megan is not your average examiner and this show is not your typical medical drama. Body of Proof thinks outside the box, and that’s why you’re going to be hooked.

Tonight, a severed hand and foot are found in an alley, and Megan allows her daughter Lacey to film her at work for a school project.

Two of my top three shows for the night have already been recommended, so my pick for tonight’s Remote post is NCIS. Even at the near end of 8 seasons, the show is still going strong. The cast is fantastic, the storylines are fun, and you just can’t be anything but entertained while watching.

On tonight’s episode, the NCIS team tracks down a suspect after a Navy lieutenant’s murder is caught on a Pentagon security camera, revealing a petty officer committing the crime. Gibbs announces that Barrett and her team will handle the Port-to-Port serial killer case. We meet the rest of Barrett’s team tonight, including NCIS Special Agent Simon Cade, played by Matthew Willig (Yuri the Gobbler on Chuck), and NCIS Special Agent Gayne Levin, played by Alimi Ballard (Numb3rs).

Don’t miss the new ep tonight on CBS at 8/7c. Learn where to find episodes online of NCIS @ Clicker.
