I’m so freakin excited for it to be Monday, which is kind of an odd thing to hear, right? But Monday means Castle and other fantastic television, and I can’t help but be excited about the rest of the week coming up, too. There’s so much good TV on this time of year. It makes me absolutely giddy. *sigh* Since there’s so much on, let’s get to it!
Jenny’s Choice #1
My first pick tonight is one of my favorite shows ever, and it shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone… I simply adore Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic together on Castle. The cast and the show are truly brilliant, and keep me on pins and needles each week as I wait for the new episode. I’m not looking forward to the summer break, but thankfully, we still have one more episode after tonight’s. And what a last 2 episodes of this season they will be! Trust me, you won’t want to miss them!
Tonight, the contestants of a beauty pageant find one of their own strangled during rehearsal, and as Castle and Beckett investigate, they discover a number of suspects with a motive for murder, from fellow contestants, to the sponsor and the show’s host. Michael McKean (Curb Your Enthusiasm) & Sasha Roiz (Caprica) guest star.

Lisa’s Choice #1
How I Met Your Mother is like a fine wine. It just keeps getting better and better with age. As the characters mature, the show matures, and we’ve seen a lot of growth this season. It’s hard to imagine that over the past few seasons that playboy Barney would have settled down to have a girlfriend, Marshall and Lily broke up for a very short time, Ted and Robin wouldn’t work out, or that we would be not that far off from finding out the answer to the show’s title. We’ve shared a lot of laughs with these friends, and we’re hopefully going to be adding another member to the brood when Lily and Marshall finally start their family. As the season finale approaches, everyone will be in for a treat.
Tonight, Ted has to make a big decision that could affect his relationship, when his friends share their real opinions on his girlfriend, Zoey (guest star Jennifer Morrison).

Megan’s Choice
While this TV season is coming to an end, I hope you have all had a chance to fall in love with Hawaii Five-0 as I have. It’s not just Alex O’Loughlin I love, (although Alex, if you’re out there, an interview would be great 😉 ). The story arcs this season have been great, and although it’s not the season finale yet, tonight’s episode has some pretty epic moments.
On tonight’s episode, with the invaluable information that was shared by Agent Jenna Kaye, Five-0 is closer than ever to capturing Wo Fat. Their mission takes a terrible turn when Danny is exposed to a lethal neurological agent, presenting an even greater threat to the island … bio-terrorism.

Jenny’s Choice #2
My second pick tonight is a huge episode for one of my favorite shows that is on the bubble for renewal… Chuck. The numbers have been down lately for this dramedy, and I’m so sad about that, because it’s so much better than the numbers portray. I REALLY hope NBC stays behind the show and renews it for next season! If you can, please please please watch live, and don’t change the channel during commercials! (Just let it play while you get something to eat or drink, use the bathroom, answer the phone, or doze on the sofa. 😉 ) All season, we’ve been leading up to Chuck and Sarah’s wedding. Tonight’s episode is the rehearsal dinner and last minute prep before the ceremony, gearing up to next week’s season finale and the wedding.
On tonight’s episode, Chuck and Sarah’s wedding prep includes one final detail: ensuring that the mother-of-the-groom (guest star Linda Hamilton) makes it to the ceremony alive. Meanwhile, Morgan’s responsibilities as Best Man include his most dangerous mission yet, as he faces Vivian Volkoff. Elsewhere, Ellie tends to the last details of the rehearsal dinner and seeks help from an unlikely source.

Jamie’s Choice
The Hard Times of RJ Berger is one, if not only, nonreality show on MTV. On top of that, it’s actually good! We’re now in season two of the show, and it revolves less around RJ’s love life (and his larger than average member) and more about his family life. While the humor of the show typically revolves around RJ’s awkwardness around women and sexual situations, it’s nice to see his friendships still in play and that the show’s subject matter is branching out in other areas, as well.
In tonight’s episode, RJ (Paul Iacono) is continuing to deal with his parents’ separation. RJ’s mother (played by Beth Littleford) is now in a relationship with RJ’s gym teacher (Marlon Young). Because he’ll be around more, Coach wants to bond with his new faux stepson. Meanwhile, Miles (Jareb Dauplaise) has finally decided to slim down. Will Miles even survive five minutes of exercise?

Gossip Girl has never been hotter than this season! We’ve seen these high school Upper East Siders turn into college students, who have chosen quite the different paths than would have been expected. Not only that, we’ve seen breakups, makeups, and shakeups, that have provided storylines that had our jaws to the floor. What the writers of Gossip Girl have up their sleeves next, no one knows, but with the season finale impending, you can bet the claws will come out and worlds will be thrown into chaos. Where will the season finale leave your favorite characters, you’ve got to see for yourself.
Tonight, complications arise when Charlie is invited to the Constance Billard alumni fundraiser, while Blair is torn between the many men in her life and Jack Bass’ actions threaten to destroy Chuck.
