If We Controlled Your Remote… 5/12/11

Tonight is one of the biggest nights on TV so far this May Sweeps. There are five season finales, a big episode of American Idol, where we go from 4 to 3, and a HUGE episode of Bones. What are you looking forward to? If you aren’t sure, check out what we think you should be watching below.

As a fan of Bones, this is the week I’ve been on pins and needles waiting for. I’m a huge fan of spoilers, so I know some of what is coming up tonight, but I certainly don’t know everything (no matter how often I claim I do! 😉 ), so I’m very, very excited about tonight. If you’re a fan, this is one you do NOT want to miss. The promos lead us to believe that someone from the gang won’t make it out of this episode alive. Do you have any theories as to who? And will this death serve in drawing Booth and Brennan closer? We’ll have to watch tonight for the answers!

On tonight’s episode, Booth’s resolve is tested when he learns that Broadsky, the elusive sniper they’ve been hunting, has claimed another victim. When a bullet meant for Booth strikes an innocent instead, Booth decides to make it his mission to capture the man once and for all.

Fans can’t deny that The Vampire Diaries has packed a lot of shocking, dramatic, and gripping moments into a phenomenal season two. We’ve seen so many characters evolve and new characters come in and shake everything up. What’s so amazing about this show is that you really can expect the unexpected. Really, it’s been such a testament to the writers that they’ve provided nonstop drama and action, and TV that has kept us fans on the edge of our seats all season long. As the season comes to a close, fans take time to reflect on an amazing job well done by the cast and crew and wait with baited breath to sink their teeth into the 2012 Fall TV season!

Tonight, Stefan’s attempt at preventing a tragedy leads to him paying an incredibly terrible personal price. Sheriff Forbes makes a fatal mistake, and lives are threatened by the consequences of the sacrifice ritual.

The smartest thing that the powers that be behind The Big Bang Theory have done this season is add the character of Amy and bumping Bernadette up to a full time character. I am loving the interactions between the girl’s group now, and I enjoy when they gang up on Priya, because let’s face it, we all hate her! 🙂

On tonight’s episode, Howard finally tells his mother that he’s marrying Bernadette, and the news puts her in the hospital.

Tune in to CBS at 8/7c to see if Howard’s mom comes around, or if Howard chickens out. Learn where to find episodes online of The Big Bang Theory @ Clicker.

It’s been an amazing season for Parks and Recreation. The addition of Rob Lowe and Adam Scott has been the perfect bonus toppings to an already successful program. Additional kudos this season to the show for adding a splash more loveable loser Andy (Chris Pratt) and a dash more dryness from April (Aubrey Plaza). They just put the cherry on top of this deliciously funny show.

Tonight, best friends Ann (Rashida Jones) and Leslie (Amy Poehler) get into a tiff. Ann gets offered a job at City Hall, but her lack of enthusiasm has Leslie unhappy. Meanwhile, Tom (Aziz Ansari) is up to his usual shenanigans. In typical Tom fashion, he’s trying to promote his latest money making scheme to his officemates, which this time happens to be a new alcoholic beverage. Let’s see if his office mates are willing to pop some bottles.

Tune in to NBC at 9:30/8:30c to see if Tom creates something drinkable and if Leslie and Ann’s friendship can survive City Hall. Learn where to find episodes online of Parks and Recreation @ Clicker.

One season finale I’ve really been looking forward to is Nikita. Last week’s episode ended on a HUGE cliffhanger, when it seemed like Alex shot Nikita. Obviously, they won’t kill of the title character, so did Alex really turn on her and shoot her, but she lives? Or is Alex playing at something to fool Percy? We’ll find out tonight! Also last week, Percy had Michael handcuffed in his office. Eep! Poor Michael. Will HE make it out alive?! As for Alex herself, will her quest for justice lead to her death, or will Nikita be able to save her? *sigh* So much to learn tonight!

On tonight’s season finale, Percy makes a move to take over the CIA, and Alex decides that she wants to go rogue. Michael gets trapped inside Division, which leaves him completely unable to help Nikita, who may have to pay with her life for helping Alex.

Don’t miss it tonight on the CW at 9/8c. Learn where to find episodes online of Nikita @ Clicker.

Lines have been crossed, and guns have been drawn! The season finale of Community continues tonight, where we last left off with Greendale’s HUGE paintball game underway. Pierce had annexed himself away from the other study group members, and it was revealed that the ice cream company holding the paintball game had hired an inside man (guest star Josh Holloway) in order to take down the other contestants. Meanwhile, the study group had admitted to Pierce they had a meeting about whether or not they wanted to keep him in the study group next week. Where will the season finale leave these classmates? You’ll have to watch and see!

Tonight, the paintball game takes a tremendously dramatic turn. Meanwhile, despite disagreements about strategy, the study group agrees it must unite to defeat the enemy.
