My top pick is the season finale and reunion show for Survivor on CBS. I wouldn’t normally recommend this, because there’s always so much else on I think you should watch, but honestly, this season was so much better than last season that I’m actually finishing the season (unlike last time, where I stopped watching only a couple of episodes in!). I love Russell, but he was voted off a good number of weeks back. My other favorite, and possibly now my favorite player even above Russell, is Boston Rob. He is as good a player as Russell, without being as much of an ass about it. lol In addition to Rob, though, we have the craziness that is Phillip (and in Rob’s words, not the N-word crazy, but just crazy crazy lol). Although now? Scott & I are wondering if Phillip is as crazy as he is making himself seem. He’s made one or two comments to the camera and to his sister when she was on the island that makes us think…maybe not. I guess we’ll see!
On tonight’s episode, the last chance for immunity is a fight to the finish with an unlikely pairing of castaways, and the final three plead their case to the jury-find out who will outplay, outwit and outlast the others.
Watch the backstabbing and deal making play out on the 2-hour season finale on CBS at 8/7c, followed by the 1-hour reunion show to find out who wins the big prize at 10/9c. Learn where to find episodes online of Survivor @ Clicker.

The Killing is an amazing new hit show on AMC. It’s based on the Dutch version of the same show, but the plot has been changed for American television viewers. So don’t go thinking you can check out Dutch spoilers to find out who the killer will be. Another reason to enjoy The Killing has plenty of intrigue and mystery, so viewers are sure to be left in wonder after each episode. As an added bonus, a lot of the cast can be found as active Twitter users. Have a question or a comment? Send them over, and you are likely to get a return tweet.
On tonight’s episode of The Killing, Sarah (Mireille Enos) and Holder (Joel Kinnaman) uncover some evidence in the disappearance of Rosie Larsen (Katie Findlay). Hopefully, the evidence will bring some peace of mind to Mitch (Michelle Forbes), whose determination is about to endanger her sons. How far is she willing to go now to find her daughter, when it risks the lives of her other children? Meanwhile, Richmond (Billy Campbell) is working hard to try and get himself back into the Mayoral race.
See what mysteries are revealed and what remains hidden tonight on The Killing by tuning in to AMC at 10/9c. Learn where to find episodes online of The Killing @ Clicker.

Tonight’s episode of Breakout Kings isn’t the season finale, but I love this show so much, I can’t NOT recommend it. On last week’s episode, the cons found out Ray is not actually a US Marshal currently. After some digging, they finally confronted him, and he admitted he stole less than $10,000 to buy his daughter a used car, so she wouldn’t think he was a deadbeat dad. I have to say, though, after this many episodes, I’ve figured out that I love Lloyd & Erica, but I’m not a fan of Shea for the most part. He knows how to talk to the cons they speak to during cases, because honestly, he’s the worst of the three. We learned a while back that Erica is in there for hunting down the men who killed her father, and we learned details last week about Lloyd’s conviction for writing prescriptions to college kids, and being convicted when a student overdosed after her boyfriend broke up with her. Shea? He was in there for weapons trafficking after he started what became a rather large gang. He’s a jerk most of the time, and whines… A LOT. I have finally decided I just don’t like him. I love Lloyd & Erica, and the rest of the cast is great, too. *shrug*
On tonight’s episode, a violent schizophrenic with the skills of an outdoor survivalist and a history of ritualistic killing is off his medication and on the hunt. His prey, Debbie Myers, is a beautiful young television show host. After killing an orderly, he escapes and the one thing on his warped, twisted mind is finding Debbie, taking her to a special place in the Adirondack Mountains, and consummating their “love” through a bizarre and violent ceremony which will surely end up with Debbie being killed. To help with the hunt, the team brings back former team member Fritz Gunderson, last seen handcuffed to a diner waiting for the police to pick him up.
Don’t miss what is sure to be another great episode tonight on A&E at 10/9c. Learn where to find episodes online of Breakout Kings @ Clicker.

It’s getting down to the nitty gritty, and these contestants aren’t messing around. Star Jones and NeNe Leakes are no longer on the show (one of them fired and the other a walk off), so all the drama these two ladies have caused on the show is over. Once again, Latoya Jackson has been fired, as well, so the last remaining female hope on The Celebrity Apprentice is Marlee Matlin. Marlee is smart, sneaky, and sophisticated, and she can execute just about anything flawlessly. Make sure you’re parked on the couch, because when these contestants are put to the test, better believe they’re going to shine!
Tonight, past show winners Piers Morgan, Joan Rivers, and Bret Michaels help narrow down the field to two finalists, and the finalists must create an ad campaign and present it at a gala.
Watch with wonder as the celebrities go head to head at 9/8c on NBC. Learn where to find episodes online of The Celebrity Apprentice @ Clicker.

It’s been a crazy, crazy season on Desperate Housewives. Susan’s been dealing with major health problems, Carlos found out Bree’s son killed his mother and Bree and Gaby knew, Paul Young moved back onto Wisteria Lane, bringing his new wife and causing MANY problems, and lots and lots of other drama with the housewives and their neighbors. Tonight’s season finale promises much more of the same, and it was so chock full of goodness, they made it 2 hours!
Tonight, a progressive dinner party thrown for Susan to celebrate her move back onto the lane leads to a shocking murder. Meanwhile, Gaby is stunned to learn the identity of the mysterious man who has been stalking her. Lynette and Tom attempt to put the spark back into their marriage by spending a few days alone together at a romantic B&B. After being placed under arrest for allegedly poisoning Paul, Susan must convince the police that she was being framed for the deed by Felicia. Bree begins to suspect that her new boyfriend may be gay, and Renee is devastated when she learns that her ex-husband is getting re-married.
See? LOTS going on tonight on the 2-hour season finale on CBS at 9/8c. Learn where to find episodes online of Desperate Housewives @ Clicker.

Hello everyone! My name is Jose Alvarez, and it’s always a pleasure to be a part of “If We Controlled Your Remote…” here on TVIsMyPacifier.com. I know that tonight has the season finales of a lot of network shows with all sorts of exciting drama, but my pick for today takes place in the afternoon and will likely have more action (at the very least a few car crashes). NASCAR on FOX will be airing the FedEx 400 benefiting Autism Speaks starting at 12:30/11:30c from Dover International Speedway in Dover, Delaware (NASCAR in Delaware right? who knew?). Tempers have been flaring recently between drivers, and it’s only a matter a time before things get crazy again at the racetrack known as The Monster Mile. FOX’s broadcast team is great at providing comprehensive coverage of a race, while helping those at home learn more about the sport. I hope you take a chance and check it out!
The FedEx 400 benefiting Autism Speaks airs today at 12:30/11:30c on FOX. Let me know what you think about it in the comments. (Note from Jenny: Sorry this is up later than the start of the race, but there’s still plenty of action going on, so you haven’t missed much!)
Jamie, are you sure The Killing is based on a Dutch show? I thought it was a Danish show and there hasn’t been a Dutch remake that I know of (since I live there and all ;))
I heard it was a Dutch show! So, I repeated it :p
