Nina is holding court tonight on an all new episode of Project Runway. She’s going over every stitch, design, and detail with a fine tooth comb, because tonight’s episode revolves around her, and the designers must cater to her every whim, demand, and critique. If Nina doesn’t approve, it very well may be off with your head…or better yet…you’re out!

Tonight, the designers must create a look for Nina Garcia to wear at a very important industry event. Actress Kerry Washington and Marie Claire’s Editor In Chief, Joanna Coles, guest judge!

Everyone knows of my love for Rookie Blue. Last week’s episode was so great for everyone—not just my favorite non-couple couple, Andy & Sam. I loved all the moments with Gail (which is hard to do sometimes, because I’m not her biggest fan, by far), especially her scene with Chris when he ordered her to let him in and then kissed her against her weak protests of infecting him. The Dov moments with his date were too cute. The case of the week was heartbreaking, with a husband and wife who had lost everything and were just trying to get their lives back—starting with their house. The poker game with Jerry and Shaw was hysterical, and it was interesting to see the scene in Frank’s office between him and Noelle. I really loved the scene near the end with Jerry and Traci, as well. But my favorite part had to be Sam goading Andy at the end, until she finally hit back and they began to spar, letting her release some of her anger she’d been holding in about Luke and Jo. Sam knew what she needed, and he was the perfect person to give it to her. (That sounds dirty, but… no such luck!) I watched last week’s episode 3 times that night. It was one of my favorites of the entire series so far. *sigh* Hopefully, the trend will continue and we will keep seeing some great stuff! I’m scared, though, because from spoilers I read and seen… Well, let’s just say things may be a’changin! lol

Tonight, it’s a race against the clock as Dov and Gail work under Swarek’s expert tutelage in a stakeout operation to stop an Asian gang from killing a snitch. Meanwhile, at Mounted Unit training day, Andy and Chris join the rookies from Division 27 in a competitive equine training event that gets Andy back in the saddle—both personally and professionally. John Bregar (Degrassi: The Next Generation), Mayko Nguyen (ReGenesis), Patrick Kwok-Choon, Jadyn Wong, and Michael Xavier guest star.

If you haven’t been watching Expedition Impossible, you’ve been missing out on some crazy stuff. It seems like so many of these teams have torn ligaments or worse over the course of this race. The No Limits team, which already had a blind guy, now also has a guy with one foot in a cast, and they still managed to beat another team to come in 5th place last week! This team really does seem to have no limits! This leaves the final five as The Cops, The Football Players, Fab 3, The Gypsies, and No Limits. I would like to see a final 3 between Fab 3, Gypsies, and No Limits. However, Fab 3 has been a bit inconsistent over the course of the race, so they really need to step up their game.

While it is still no Amazing Race, I’ve been enjoying Expedition Impossible as a way to fill that void over the summer. In tonight’s episode, “Come Hell or High Water,” the five remaining teams reveal their alliances as they encounter rushing whitewater rapids, sinking boats, and dangerous wormholes (Ok, so that’s what was on Jenny’s DVR… when did this turn into a Syfy show?!) on their way to competing for a spot in the final four. Rifts form between participants as the intensity mounts.

Last week’s Rookie Blue had some amazing character building moments. I loved how Chris was so sweet to Gail when she was scared and isolated. Dov was super sweet on his date—even a bit sexy. I enjoyed seeing him connect with someone, and I hope they don’t mess it up by trying to put him with Gail. Most of all, I really loved the interactions between Sam and Andy. I can’t wait to see where they go with that.

On tonight’s episode, Swarek runs a stakeout to keep an Asian gang from killing an informant, and Dov and Gail assist him. Meanwhile, Andy and Chris join the Division 27 rookies in an equine competition.

Last week on Burn Notice, we got to see Michael and Jesse go on a mission with Agent Pearce, and see her finally work a case undercover. It was fun seeing how she handled things—she did better than I’d thought she would! There’s some tension between Fiona and Michael, too… I think he’s taking her for granted, and if he doesn’t realize that soon, she may get fed up. Hopefully he’ll see the light, because I’m loving them together!

On tonight’s episode, Fiona and Jesse take a surveillance job for a powerful pharmaceuticals magnate, but there’s more to his company than meets the eye. Michael and Sam interrogate a bomb-maker involved in the cover-up of Max’s murder. James Frain (The Cape, True Blood, The Tudors, Invasion) guest stars. Anytime I see James Frain, it’s a good day. There’s something mysterious and sexy about him, and I love him in everything I’ve seen him in, even if I don’t like his character.

I can’t wait for tonights RB episode!!! I’m not sure how I feel about the dov/gail storyline though. I knew it was coming when Dov and Chris made that pact to never give up going after something they both really want. I wouldn’t mind too much if the season doesn’t end with mcswarek coupled up but I don’t know if I could tune back in if Andy/Luke make up!

  2. Jenny says:

I don’t think Andy/Luke are going to make up… Are they?! Oh crap, now I’m worried! hahaha Yeah, I don’t have to see Andy/Sam together yet, but… lol

  3. Jewls says:

Well, I read the interview with Ben Bass and Eric that was on Tvline today and they make it clear that the story isn’t going where fans think it is. Couple that with the promo that has Andy saying “Ask me to stay” and what sounds like Luke responding with “stay” it makes me feel like maybe just maybe they plan to end the season with a reconciliation :/ Realllllyyy hoping that doesn’t happen though!

  4. Jewls says:

So this weeks RB really underwhelmed me! Looking forward to next week…

  5. Jenny says:

Yeah, it was a bit less exciting and emotionally engaging this week than last. I did like the whole storyline with Traci and the pregnant girl, and between Sam and Shaw, but … The previews for next week look good!
