Mitchell & Cameron, because even though they are a gay couple, they learn to deal with it, and they don’t let it take over their lives. They have to deal with everything that straight people have to deal with, and more.

My favorite character-groups is the Jay-Gloria-Manny family. She is hilarious but not one-dimensional, Jay shows he has grown as a father since he was raising his own kids, and I’m crazy about Manny.
I have to say, the more I watch the show, the less I like how Mitchell treats Cam. He seems disdainful toward him, rather selfish, and sometimes just plain mean. I hope he will be more appreciative of his spouse in the future seasons.
My favourite is the Jay-Glora-Manny family. They’re all so different, but they compliment each other so well. I absolutely adore old man Manny.
It’s a tie between Mitchell/Cameron/Lilly & Jay/Gloria/Manny. Their dynamics are so entertaining, but in different ways.
Cameron/Mitchell are my favorite. I have never laughed harder than when he came in with the baby singing that song from Lion King.
I adore Phil and Claire! I laughed so hard at the incident with the van when it appeared that Phil was trying to pimp his wife and daughter out. The child actors on that show are so talented!
Mitchell and Cameron are by far my favorite. I relate more to Cameron because I’m a stay at home mother with a passion for the performing arts. Then again I have Mitchell’s attitude of, “I’m always right but yet I’ll only subtly rub it in.”
Gloria! I’ve lived in Spain, and sometimes the Spanish/English differences and mispronunciations are just as hilarious in real life.
I love Gloria. From her squawking like a parrot to her perfect aim when shooting holes in Manny’s raft, she is always hilarious.
Claire & Phil have the funniest interplays, especially when Phil is lusting over his step mother in law, Gloria.
I love Phil because he’s so funny! Like a big kid trapped in a man’s body!
Cameron is hands down my favorite. He’s just so over the top, and I find him absolutely hilarious! I love all of the characters, though. Definitely one of the best shows on tv!
Manny, the adult-child, always has the greatest little moments/reactions.
Mitchell & Cameron because I respect their struggle to be accepted
Phil is my favorite character because he reminds me a lot of myself. All of the characters are great in their own way, though

Just started watching and I haven’t caught up with season 2 just yet. Totally agree with Whitney. Mitchell/Cameron/Lilly & Jay/Gloria/Manny are my favorites!

Claire and Phil’s family is easily my favorite. Ty Burrell does a FANTASTIC job playing Phil Dunphy…and I’ve been a fan of Julie Bowen since her Carol Vessey and Happy Gilmore days.
I love watching their kids’ reactions to the embarrassing things their parents do (I’m laughing at moments from the show while typing this….the kids seeing the parents have sex…PRICELESS!).
I know that some day I will be that dorky, embarrassing dad for my two girls and (like Phil) I will wear that badge honorably and obliviously!
Phil is my favorite; he’s really become the center of the show, and he’s so lovable and good-hearted.
I’d say Mitchell and Cameron, from what I’ve seen they are hilarious. I have heard many good things about this show and would love to try it.
Cameron/Mitchell/Lilly are my favorite family on the show. Love them! Can’t wait to see how it is with the 4 year old actress that replaced the twins that played Lilly.
