If We Controlled Your Remote… 9/12/11

Tonight is PACKED FULL of new episodes. Including all the late night TV, but not counting double episodes, there are 42 shows on. Eek. We’ve tried to narrow that down to what we think you should watch, so start your week night TV off right by checking out our suggestions below. 🙂

The last episode was HUGE for Warehouse 13. Not only did Jinks screw up (who among them hasn’t?! lol), but he did it in a spectacular way, by holding a gun on Mrs. Frederic (by the way, how great is CCH Pounder in this role? *love her*), allowing the bad “guy” to escape, which ended up getting her killed. So he was fired—but will he be back? I think so… I HOPE so! Claudia’s reaction to his leaving was just heartbreaking. Very reminiscent of Pete when Myka left at the end of last season. Then on top of all that, we find out one of the Regents is Pete’s mom. What? REALLY?! Crazy stuff! So not having a new episode last week was killer, because I so very much wanted to see the repercussions of all of that. Thankfully, we’ll find out what happens—at least with Pete & his mom—this week.

On tonight’s episode, “Shadows,” Pete has an uneasy reunion with his mother while he investigates the Regent murders by entering into her memories. Myka and Claudia encounter one of the deadliest artifacts yet while looking into a string of mysterious disappearances.

It’s that time again—time for the summer season finale for The Closer. It’s incredible the journey that we’ve seen Brenda Lee Johnson go through so far. She’s had this civil suit brought against her and has had to deal with Captain Raydor, of all people, being the one interrogating Brenda’s coworkers. It may all come down to tonight, when a judge decides whether or not to drop the charges against Brenda. Could this be the breath of relief that Brenda has been waiting for?

Tonight, the squad investigates the shooting death of a deputy sheriff, as the judge in the civil case against Brenda decides whether or not to drop the charges against her.

I missed not having a new Weeds last week, especially with the cliffhanger we were left with two weeks ago. When we last saw Nancy, she was arranging a police bust of Pouncy House, to take out the competition. Meanwhile, unbeknownst to her, Shane was at Pouncy House HQ, striking up a deal to combine forces with Emma on a new joint venture. This season has been a lot of fun, and I’m really enjoying Michelle Trachtenberg’s guest performance, which has been much better than her other recent TV work. I’m looking forward to seeing how this latest plot twist plays out and where we go from here, with only 3 episodes left to the season (or series).

On tonight’s episode, “Une Mère Que J’aimerais Baiser,” Nancy goes to the Hamptons for a weekend, Silas hopes to win Emma back, and Shane tags along on a drug bust.

Check it out tonight on Showtime at 10/9c. Learn where to find episodes online of Weeds @ Clicker.

The last new episode of Eureka saw relationship auditor Warren Hughes presiding over the appeal of his own verdict on Carter & Allison’s relationship. When he was zapped by a memory grabbing headset, Carter’s memories leaked into his head, making him think that stuff was happening to him—and right then. So he was Carter as he watched Allison dying, he was Carter as he tried to run the police jeep off the cliff, he was Carter as he threw a pipe into the Astreus space vessel, and he was Carter as he tried to kiss Allison. It was all funny to watch and great to see little snippets of previous episodes. When they finally figured out what had happened and how to fix it, Hughes was back to being himself—for the most part. He overturned his original ruling on the relationship between Carter & Allison, which was great. His character was just a lot of fun to watch. As for the Astreus mission, Fargo and Holly were both accepted (they are too cute!), while Dr. Parrish was not (*snicker* at his reaction), but the most poignant of all was Jo withdrawing her name when she realized she wanted to go for the wrong reasons, so she wanted to make room for someone else who wanted to go for all the RIGHT reasons—like Zane, who did get accepted. Will he go off and leave her? If he doesn’t, will he regret it? With only one more week this week, I guess we’ll find out soon!

On tonight’s episode, “One Small Step,” Carter and Taggart work together to solve the mystery of a melted cow. Jo attempts to figure out what she wants from life. A malfunction leaves Deputy Andy stranded on Titan, and Carter and Allison contemplate their relationship.

The summer finale of Rizzoli & Isles has arrived, and it doesn’t seem possible. It seems like it was just turning Monday for the first episode of this second season. It’s incredible how far the season has gone, with more great one liners from both Jane and Maura, the more in depth look at Maura’s family we have been given, and the great recovery Jane has had from her injury during the first season finale. The ladies have had their ups and downs, but tonight’s episode will be have the ladies needing one another more than ever!

Tonight, when a young man is killed in a jail bathroom right on the eve of his release, Jane and Maura get a very nasty surprise when serial killer Charles Hoyt (guest star Michael Massee) claims that he has clues about the murder. Meanwhile, after months of preparation, Frankie Jr. is all ready to take his detective’s exam.

Hell’s Kitchen is getting down to the final few contestants, and they are getting fierce. Out of the people left, I would like to see Jennifer win, only because I’m annoyed by almost everyone else. 🙂

On tonight’s episode, the competition intensifies as each chef must prove to Chef Ramsay that they have the sharpest skills, unwavering determination, and utmost passion to survive Hell’s Kitchen. After another intense challenge and grueling dinner service, the chefs face one of the most intense eliminations to date.

Tune in to FOX at 9/8c to see who survives to cook another day. Learn where to find episodes online of Hell’s Kitchen @ Clicker.
