It’s that time of year again. The Emmys are airing tomorrow. I thought I should put my picks in now. This isn’t necessarily who I think will win, but these are my choices for who I want to win. Do you know who you want to win? Take a look below and prepare for tomorrow’s award show.
Outstanding Comedy
My Pick: The Big Bang Theory, because I love every minute of it. It’s true I adore Glee, but I don’t think that last season was worth an Emmy.
Jump ahead to see the rest of the nominees and my choices.
Outstanding Drama
My Pick: Friday Night Lights, because they are long overdue.
Lead Actor in a Comedy
My Pick: I’m going to have to go with Jim Parsons from The Big Bang Theory.
Lead Actor in a Drama
My Pick: It’s a tough category, but I’m going to go with Timothy Olyphant from Justified, because I love him in this role.
Lead Actress in a Comedy
My Pick: I don’t personally like the show, but I think that Martha Plimpton from Raising Hope should win. She’s a fabulous actress.
Lead Actress in a Drama
My Pick: Julianna Margulies from The Good Wife deserves it, but I’d also be happy with Kathy Bates from Harry’s Law.
Supporting Actor in a Comedy
My Pick: Jesse Tyler Ferguson from Modern Family, because he’s playing the most understated role on the show.
Supporting Actor in a Drama
My Pick: Another difficult category, but I’m going to go with Alan Cumming from The Good Wife.
Supporting Actress in a Comedy
My Pick: While it would be awesome for Jane Lynch (Glee) to win while she’s the host, I’m going to go with Betty White from Hot in Cleveland, because she’s amazing.
Supporting Actress in a Drama
My Pick: I’m going to go with Archie Panjabi from The Good Wife. It’s tough being the other woman.
Outstanding Host, Reality or Reality-Competition Program
My Pick: Obviously, I’m going with Cat Deely for So You Think You Can Dance. She is long overdue for this nomination and to win it.
Outstanding Reality Show – Competition
My Pick: So You Think You Can Dance for the win!!! 😀
Outstanding Reality Program
My Pick: Deadliest Catch, because that’s some crazy stuff right there.
That’s all the ones that I’m going to weigh in on, but be sure to tune in to FOX to watch the Emmys at 8/7c. Come back here after and tell me who you are happiest with and who you didn’t think deserved the win.
