Some tidbits of news to help you through your day!
NBC cut some dead weight yesterday, when they canceled The Playboy Club. I can’t say that I’m surprised, because while it’s very true that Eddie Cibrian is amazingly hot, this pilot was not. The stories dragged, the dialogue was poor, and overall, it just sucked.
While chopping some bunnies, NBC also ordered full seasons of Up All Night and Whitney. I’m actually surprised by Whitney being picked up. It’s not funny at all. I guess we’ll have to see how it does in the long run. Source

Chris Bauer (Andy Bellefluer on True Blood) is heading for a guest spot on Hawaii Five-0. He’ll be playing the manager of an oil rig, who ends up dealing with McGarrett and Danny when one of his workers is murdered. I’m all for any news that involves great guest stars on one of my favorite shows, so yay! 😀 Source
Modern Family has booked the very talented Leslie Mann (Knocked Up) to guest star. In the episode, she’ll be playing a woman that Cameron (Eric Stonestreet) tries to pick up at a bar. It’s obviously not real—he’s trying to win a bet with Mitchell (Jesse Tyler Ferguson)—but it’s going to be hilarious, nonetheless. Source
Cheryl Ladd will be dropping in to Chuck to play Emma, long lost mother of Sarah Walker. We’ll see why she’s estranged from her daughter and more in episode 8, airing in January. Ladd is also going to be popping up on NCIS as a love interest for Ducky, as well a possible guest spot on Charlie’s Angels (if it survives that long). I’m not overly interested in a mom for Sarah on Chuck, but Ladd as a love interest for Ducky on NCIS? Yes, please. 🙂 Source
That’s all for now. I’ll be back soon with more morsels of news for you.
