It’s been a long road for Gleeks who have been eagerly waiting for a new Glee episode! When we last left the Glee Club, Mercedes had done just that—left the Glee Club! She’s gone over to Shelby’s choir group to join Sugar, and there may be a few more defecting members in the near future, as well. They had just announced all of the parts in West Side Story, and the race for Senior Class President was heating up with more new entries. Quinn decided she wanted Beth back in her life, but on a more permanent basis. With such an important year ahead for many of the Gleeks, will they be able to make this a year to remember, or will they look back at this time and wonder what could have been?

Tonight on Glee, you’re going to strike gold! A new foreign exchange student named Rory Flanagan (The Glee Project contestant Damian McGinty) enrolls at McKinley and crashes with Brittany, who thinks that Rory’s a leprechaun. Mercedes attempts to recruit new members to join Shelby Corcoran’s (guest star Idina Menzel) newly formed choir group. Also, Sue’s congressional campaign starts to heat up!

Tonight is the Fall premiere of Covert Affairs, and I couldn’t be happier about it. This has been one of my favorite shows since it started, and stars Piper Perabo and Chris Gorham are the main reason why. The rest of the cast is great, too, and I always love the cases, but Annie & Auggie make the show for me. Plus, Chris Gorham is such a genuinely nice, sweet, funny guy. I follow him on Twitter (@Chris_Gorham), and you should, too! If you do, make sure you tell him @tvismypacifier sent you. 😉

On tonight’s episode, “The Wake-Up Bomb,” after failing a mission in Venice, Annie is quickly provided with a new assignment when she meets a chef with ties to the Basque separatist movement.

I’ll admit, I usually don’t get into a new series the first year of it’s infancy, and I’d blocked New Girl from my tv radar, even though I’d heard and read nothing but outstanding things about it and its cast. So last night, I caught up to see what all the fuss has been about. I’ll admit I was completely wrong, because New Girl is a great show. Zooey Deschanel is very fresh and free spirited as Jess, the new girl. It seems like after 4 episodes, they may be trying a Nick and Jess pairing? I don’t know, but it could be interesting. Zooey has great chemistry with all of her co-stars. Jess and New Girl fit Zooey’s personality completely. Sometimes, a 30 minute sitcom fails because they have too many characters and not enough time to share the screen equally, but so far, New Girl is handling 4 main characters quite well. I’ll be back next week for the next episode.

This week’s episode, “Naked,” catches a very naked Nick unabashedly dancing around his room, until Jess walks in unannounced. Instinctively and a bit embarrassingly, Jess gawks and laughs at Nick’s predicament. The rest of us are just gawking at Jake Johnson. How will this awkwardness play out between the roommates? In other apartment news, Winston asks Schmidt to inform him of what has happened during the two years he’s been in Latvia playing basketball.

Tune in to see if there’s a Betty White mention. Yes, she’s still hot. If you like Jess’ wittiness and spunk, follow @itsjesstweets on Twitter.

Sometimes, storylines alone compel you to watch or recommend a specific episode of a show. I love NCIS. I have for years. And while it hasn’t been as exciting the last couple of years as some other shows (like Megan & I both prefer NCIS: LA most of the time), I still love it and enjoy watching every week. This week, the storyline is one that I’m really looking forward to, because it looks like it alone will make the episode worth watching. Will the rest of it? Oh, I’m sure, but still… lol On last week’s episode, a Navy lieutenant died of forced over-hydration, drowning in his own skin. That is just…really creepy! Now the people who fear drowning have one more aspect to add to their phobia!

On tonight’s episode, “Devil’s Triangle,” the NCIS team searches for answers when the current husband of both Gibbs’s and Fornell’s ex-wife is suspiciously kidnapped. Melinda McGraw (Men of a Certain Age, Mad Men) guest stars as Diane Sterling, the ex-wife of both Gibbs and Fornell. Joe Spano is back as…Senior FBI Agent T.C. Fornell, as well.

Boiling points are starting to reach an over flow on Ringer. Gemma is still missing, and Agent Machado is on the hunt even more now that they’ve found Bridget’s fingerprints on items found in connection with Gemma’s disappearance. Juliet got into a fight with a girl at her new public school and almost ended up in the hot seat. Lucky for her, her brand new English teacher (guest star Jason Dohring, Veronica Mars) was her knight in shining armor. There is scandal, there is drama, and mystery. All the right elements for a show you won’t want to miss!

On an all new episode, Bridget, still posing as Siobhan, is forced to reveal that she has a twin to Andrew and Henry when Agent Machado starts closing in.

Does Raising Hope ever disappoint? I haven’t seen a bad episode yet, and tonight’s “Killer Hope” certainly won’t be its first. Little Hope smacks a kid in her daycare, and Virginia and Burt immediately think Hope is showing signs of being a serial killer like her mother. Poor little Hope will always have that serial killer mom stigma. Not only dealing with Hope’s potential murderous future, the Chance’s are also forced to camp out in their front yard when their house has to be tented for termites. Most of us would be embarrassed to have a giant circus tent covering our house, but not Burt. Could a tent be a turn on?

Watch the hilarity play out with Maw-Maw as she singlehandedly tries to clean the refrigerator out of all leftover food before the big tenting. Cloris Leachman is laugh out loud funny. She is not just a scene stealer, but a show stealer. Martha Plimpton is completely under appreciated for her professional range, but thankfully, Raising Hope gives her plenty of freedom to shine. And the chemistry between Martha and Garret Dillahunt is remarkable.

If you haven’t watched Raising Hope, give it a shot. You’ll be pleasantly surprised.

I love Body of Proof, as I’ve stated many times on here and Twitter. I love that the show is such a great mix of case and personal. The progression of the relationship between Megan and her daughter is great, too. On last week’s episode, that was just reinforced when Megan finally asserted herself and stood up to Todd, telling him she wanted more visitation with Lacey. They agreed that Megan would get her every other weekend, which is a pretty good deal, considering how things were at the start of the series! The addition of Todd dating Megan’s boss is great, because it opens up so many new lines of drama! I have a feeling some of those are going to come into play this week…

On tonight’s episode, “Hard Knocks,” when a popular 17-year-old high school student is found dead after a rave, the team must decipher various unknown drugs in his system and multiple bruises to figure out the cause of death. Meanwhile, Megan is finally starting to date again after the divorce, but her ex-husband springs some shocking news on her and her daughter, causing tension at home.
