Only 23 more sleeps until Christmas!!! 😀 Add to that the fact that it’s Friday, and all is well. We made it through another week, and while it wasn’t a super busy week for television, there was enough to keep us busy. Tonight is no different, with a few great new episodes that you should check out for sure. Let’s see what those shows are.

I am happy that Blue Bloods is back this week. This is one of those shows that I despise missing. Week after week, this show delivers, not only with great acting, but storylines that pull us in deeper each week. Last episode, we saw the family rally around Grandpa after his heart attack and show how much of a family they really are. It was a sweet and touching episode, but at the same tim,e we never fail to be drawn into the crime solving, either. Finally, all this heart and crime fighting is wrapped up into a delicious package of this attractive cast.
On tonight’s episode, “Moonlighting,” an ex-mobster agrees to help Danny find bodies linked to cold cases in exchange for lenience for his son on grand theft auto charges. Meanwhile, Jamie works undercover in a boiler-room operation in order to uncover secrets about the Sanfino crime family.

Unfortunately, I’m beyond exhausted right now. I have the start of a cold, so my eyes feel like there is a ton of gritty sand stuck behind my eyelids. Therefore, my write ups are going to be short and sweet. Last week on Nikita, Birkhoff was kidnapped, Nikita rescued him (and in the process, learned who Sean really is), Alex got herself smuggled into Russia, and Michael was still gone, spending time with his son. I’m totally not loving Michael being gone. I hope he is back full time after the Christmas break!
On tonight’s episode, “Guardians,” Nikita turns to Owen to help her track down and steal another black box from a Guardian, but she discovers Owen is working for another employer, which puts the whole operation at risk. Amanda discovers Percy leaked information to Alex about Semak, and Alex begins her quest to take Semak down.

It’s been a few weeks since we’ve had a new episode of Supernatural. The last episode started off with Sam and Dean hunting the Jersey Devil, but ended up being more about the return of the Leviathans. As usual, there was also a lot of humor sprinkled throughout—where can I get one of those Turducken Slammers (without the side effects, of course). The episode ended with Bobby getting shot. While I really doubt they will kill this character off, it was a great cliffhanger to leave us with. I have really enjoyed this season of Supernatural, especially this whole new Leviathan mythology. For a show that was supposed to end years ago, it still does a great job coming up with new arcs and fun, action-packed stories!
In tonight’s episode, “Death’s Door,” Bobby revisits his past to solve one of the most personal cases of his life. Meanwhile, Sam and Dean race against the clock on a high-stakes mission.

One of my favorite characters now on CSI: NY is Jo. That’s a good thing, since she’s been front and center a lot—especially lately, because of the rapist storyline! Last week’s episode featured not only Jo coming face to face with the guy, but a very interesting storyline about a corrupt judge getting his just desserts. It was a rather sad story, and you really had to feel for the shooter. It’s times like this that I’m glad I’m not on the jury!
On tonight’s episode, “Means to an End,” when a crucial witness turns up dead, Jo gets caught up in the dangerous investigation of the suspected rapist who was set free on her watch in D.C. A former colleague of hers from the FBI returns to help in the investigation. Michael Weston (House) guest stars.
