Tonight is the season finale of 6 shows. First up is the 2-hour season finale of Survivor on CBS at 8/7c, followed by the 1-hour reunion special at 10/9c. Then at 8:30/7:30c, it’s the season finale of Allen Gregory on FOX. Then at 9/8c, it’s the finales of Dexter on Showtime and The Next Iron Chef on Food Network. Tonight is the series premiere of Who’s Still Standing? on NBC at 8/7c. The show is a unique and thrilling trivia show designed to keep both contestants and viewers on their toes – by dropping contestants through the floor! Hosted by two-time Emmy Award winner Ben Bailey (Cash Cab), it offers contestants the opportunity to win up to $1 million while competing in head-to- head trivia battles. The series had its global premiere on Israel’s Channel 10 in December 2010. At the start of the trivia competition, there is one main competitor and 10 challengers. The main competitor chooses one of the 10 challengers to go head-to-head against in a trivia battle for a high-stakes pot that can lead to a $1 million dollar jackpot. If one of the two players answers a question incorrectly, he or she is dropped through a trap door and is out of the competition. The trivia battles continue until one player is left standing. Ultimately, if the main contestant prevails against the other 10 challengers, he or she can win up to $1 million.
Tonight is a 90-minute new episode of Top Gear: Top 40 on BBC America at 8/7c, followed by the 90-minute season finale at 9:30/8:30c. It’s also the 2-hour season finale of Terra Nova on FOX at 8/7c., the finale of Ridiculousness on MTV at 10/9c, and the finale of Watch What Happens: Live on Bravo at 11/10c.
