It’s been a fabulous week in TV, and in general. I was super excited that I finally got the snow I’ve been waiting for. Considering I’m in Canada, you would have thought it would have come before now. 🙂 Big thanks to JJ for covering for Kyle, who was on vacation this week! We really appreciated it! Tonight is full of more great new television to help you kick off your weekend right. Let’s take a look.

Grimm is definitely at the top of my must see list, and even more so after last week’s episode. Last week, we got to see the friendship and trust between Nick and Monroe deepen, as well as getting to see Hank’s naughty side. Nick got his ass handed to him by an ogre, and his girlfriend stepped up to the plate to save him. Overall, it was an episode filled with growth. I can’t wait to see Hank learn about Nick’s secret and the captain tell Nick who he is – although I’m sure that won’t come until later this season.
On tonight’s episode, “Of Mouse and Man,” a gruesome homicide may be linked to a man’s troubling childhood; Monroe receives a disturbing message from the creature community.

Last week’s Chuck was hysterical. The legendary Bo Derek a spy? I love it. Morgan’s and Chuck’s reactions to learning that Morgan had slept with THE Bo Derek… Absolutely priceless. And watching Chuck try to worm his way out of it when Sarah joked about Chuck’s crush on her was great. Of course, in the end, Chuck was kidnapped, and when Sarah and Casey went to rescue him, they were shot at and pinned down. The only way Sarah could think of to have a chance to get out of it alive was to put on the Intersect glasses. So now, she is the Intersect, and it’s going to wreak havoc in her head. 🙁 This week looks exciting and scary! Oh, and another great part was Casey and Morgan working together to set it up so Jeff & Lester would think they’d been to Vegas, but that certainly didn’t go as planned. I loved how the scene kept getting recreated and thought it was hysterical that they saw everything and freaked the heck out about it!
On tonight’s episode, “Chuck versus the Bullet Train,” when a mission in Japan becomes a hostage situation, Sarah and Chuck must face the merciless Nicholas Quinn (guest star Angus Macfadyen, Braveheart) aboard a speeding Japanese bullet train. Meanwhile, the mission leaves Casey with an impossible decision.

I have been following Fringe ever since it started about 4 years ago, and I love the show. Sometimes I forget not to watch it while I’m eating, which is unwise to say the least. Still, the writing is solid and really made me care about the characters. This is also my biggest nitpick about this season. Due to the last season finale, the characters have all changed this tiny bit, and last episode was the first episode where I started to love them again. Last week, we saw Peter returning to the alternate universe with Lincoln Lee and them landing in the middle of a shape-shifter crisis. At the end of the episode, Peter received an ominous prediction and we saw David Robert Jones returning.
This week, the episode titled “Enemy of my Enemy” focuses on Peter, who’s on the other side, and the alternate Fringe division facing a formidable new foe.
It’s on at 9/8c on Fox. Learn where to find episodes online of Fringe @ Clicker.
